- Measure the cut-out height, width and depth at the actual opening, not from an old appliance’s label.
- Compare those measurements with the external dimensions and the specification sheet’s cut-out guidance.
- Check whether the oven has to sit within a cabinet with a specified ventilation gap, and follow the manual’s installation section.
- Confirm the exact model number on the rating label matches OO653X, since some parts suppliers list several Omega models together.
Electrical connection and installation
The retailer states that installation requires a qualified electrician, and the oven is hardwired rather than supplied through a plug. Do not treat it as a plug-in replacement for a freestanding appliance. An electrician should check that the supply circuit suits the oven’s rated current and that the isolation arrangement matches the manual’s installation section before the unit is connected.
Cooking performance: what is and is not known
No independent cooking result for the OO653X is publicly readable. The 70 L capacity and nine shelf positions are design figures. They do not show how evenly the oven bakes across several trays. If you own one, judge its performance by checking the manual’s shelf and temperature guidance against your own results.

Andoo displays a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from six reviews on its product page (accessed 2026). The review text was not visible, and the sample is small and hosted by a retailer. It is a useful signal that the listing has been rated, but it is not broad or independently verified owner satisfaction.

Warranty
Omega’s specification sheet, updated 7 December 2017, lists a 24-month parts-and-labour warranty. That is an original term for a unit sold new at that time. It does not transfer to a second-hand unit or extend to a unit bought years later. For any unit you are considering, assume no manufacturer cover unless the seller provides written proof of current support.
Replacement parts

Bottom heating element
Statewide Appliance Spares lists SP18983, an 1100 W bottom element, as suitable for the OO653X. It is searched for as “Omega OO653X oven bottom heating element.” Check the rating of your old element and the model compatibility before ordering, because the listing covers several models.

Seller catalogues list these parts for the model family. Confirm the part against the model number on your oven before purchase, and ask the supplier to confirm fit in writing if the listing does not name the OO653X directly.
