The Omega ODW704XB is a 60 cm freestanding dishwasher specified for 14 place settings, with a removable worktop and flexible basket layout. Its published features include a removable cutlery tray and a DualZone option, but the available evidence is a distributor datasheet and a small set of historical retailer comments—not independent performance testing. Current availability is also unconfirmed.
What kind of dishwasher is the ODW704XB?
Hagemeyer Appliances, identified in its datasheet as Omega’s Australian distributor, describes the ODW704XB as a stainless steel, freestanding dishwasher with a removable worktop. Its listed capacity is 14 place settings. Those figures describe the model on the datasheet; check the rating plate and documentation for the individual appliance, particularly if buying a used or old-stock unit. How flexible are its racks and wash zones?
The datasheet lists a removable cutlery tray, an adjustable top basket that can be moved while loaded, folding rear tines and triple filtration. Its stated dish clearances are up to 30 cm for plates in the lower basket, and up to 19 cm in the upper basket with the cutlery tray fitted or 24 cm without it. Actual fit will depend on the shape and arrangement of the dishes.

DualZone lets the owner select the top basket, the bottom basket or both. This provides a choice of wash area; the datasheet does not establish how much water or energy a zone-only cycle uses or how its cleaning compares with a full load. The control panel is described as lockable.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Which programs are listed?
The datasheet says there are six programs, but its extracted program list clearly names only five: quick wash at 40°C for 35 minutes, normal at 45°C, daily at 60°C for one hour, pots-intensive at 65°C, and heavy-soak at 55°C. It describes the quick wash as intended for lightly soiled plates. Because the list does not account for all six programs, consult the manual for the specific unit rather than assuming the missing program or its settings.

What do buyer comments establish?
A historical Appliances Online review panel showed a small number of comments dated 2012. Some praised the cutlery drawer and adjustable interior; others described a faulty delivery unit or connector-hose issue. These are individual retailer-page reports, not a representative sample, and they do not establish typical reliability, failure rates or the condition of another unit. What to check before buying one
- Measure the available opening and confirm that a 845 × 598 × 594 mm appliance will fit, allowing for the installation clearances specified in its manual.
- Check the unit’s rating plate and manual for its exact model, electrical and water requirements, programs and included accessories.
- Inspect the baskets, cutlery tray, hose and connections, and establish the appliance’s condition before purchase.
- Get the warranty terms that apply to that specific unit in writing; the datasheet’s 24-month statement alone does not confirm coverage for a particular sale.
- If buying from a listing, confirm current stock and that the model number is ODW704XB rather than a similar Omega dishwasher.
