OKX has announced OKX Money, a standalone app for saving, sending and spending dollar-backed stablecoins. The company says eligible customers can earn up to 10% APY on qualifying USDG balances, while the app will also offer transfers and virtual or physical payment cards. OKX says rollout will begin in participating markets, but its October 6, 2026 announcement does not name the first countries.
What OKX Money is—and how it differs from OKX Pay
OKX describes OKX Money as a new standalone app that brings stablecoin balances, transfers, rewards and card spending together. That is distinct from OKX Pay, the earlier in-app product discussed in an OKX article by CEO Star Xu. The older article’s references to possible payment-service-provider integrations, including Mastercard and Stripe, do not establish a partnership or completed integration for OKX Money.

OKX’s launch announcement says the app is intended to help people save, send and spend “digital dollars.” The company says roughly 70% of the people it wants to serve have never used a crypto application; the launch page provides no survey or methodology for that figure, so it should be treated as OKX’s description of its intended audience, not an independently verified statistic.

Which stablecoins, funding currencies and rewards are announced?
Funding and balances
OKX says customers will be able to fund accounts using more than 50 supported currencies, which the app converts into dollar-backed stablecoins. It names USDG, USDC and USDT as balances customers can hold, and says supported stablecoins can be converted without conversion fees. These are company-announced features; the announcement does not set out all conversion conditions or regional support details.

Rewards are limited to eligible USDG balances
OKX advertises up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances for qualifying customers, with no staking or lockup required. The top rate is not stated for USDC or USDT, and OKX does not say that every USDG holder will receive it. The launch announcement also does not explain how rewards are generated, how long the rate applies, or provide the complete terms. It therefore does not establish a guaranteed or bank-like return.
How the announced cards and payments work
OKX says customers will be able to spend through virtual or physical cards. For purchases made in another currency, the company advertises zero foreign-exchange fees and no conversion markup, subject to eligibility and regional availability.

OKX says foreign-exchange fees can add 2% to 5% to a purchase. That range is the company’s framing in its launch article, not an independently sourced market-wide estimate. OKX also advertises up to 10% cashback on qualifying purchases for eligible customers. Both the cashback and card features are subject to terms that are not fully described in the announcement.
Where OKX Money will launch
OKX says the rollout is beginning in participating markets and will expand over time as the company evaluates performance and customer service. It has not named the initial countries in the launch article. The broad focus on emerging markets should not be read as confirmation that the app is available throughout any region or country group.

OKX says it operates within regulatory licensing frameworks in more than 30 jurisdictions. That company statement does not establish that OKX Money is authorized or available in a particular country. Prospective users will need to check the app’s availability, eligibility requirements and governing terms for their own location.
