OKX Money brings stablecoin balances, transfers, eligible USDG rewards and card payments into one app. Its advertised “up to 10% APY” is a maximum for qualifying users and balances—not a guaranteed rate for everyone—and the company has not named the countries included in the initial rollout.
What OKX Money does
OKX describes Money as a standalone app for holding and moving digital dollars and spending them with a payment card. The launch announcement names USDG, USDC and USDT as supported stablecoins. Customers can fund accounts using more than 50 supported currencies, which are converted into dollar-backed stablecoins, and the company says users can convert between supported stablecoins without conversion fees. OKX’s launch announcement does not establish that every funding method or other account conversion is free.

The app also offers eligible users rewards on USDG and advertises cashback on qualifying card purchases. OKX says customers can use a virtual or physical card for spending. Its claim of no foreign-exchange fees or conversion markup applies to foreign-currency card purchases, not necessarily to funding or other transactions.
Is the 10% USDG yield available to everyone?
No. OKX advertises up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances, without staking or a lockup, but presents that as a maximum subject to eligibility and location. It is not a universal rate, and the launch announcement does not give a complete rate schedule, a base rate or the thresholds required for each tier.

CoinDesk reported on October 6, 2026, citing an OKX spokesperson, that higher reward tiers may depend on a 30-day average deposit threshold, a 30-day spending amount or a higher Exchange VIP status. The report did not state the threshold amounts or explain how the new yield is funded. Read CoinDesk’s launch coverage.
OKX has a separate USDG rewards program in OKX Pay. A March 12, 2026 notice for that program says the rate on the first $10,000 depends on VIP tier and balances above $10,000 receive 3.50% APY. Where is OKX Money available?
OKX says it is starting in participating markets and plans to expand as it establishes that it can serve users. The October 6 launch announcement does not name the initial countries. CoinDesk likewise reported that the first markets were not disclosed and that rollout would follow local requirements. Availability can therefore depend on your country; check OKX’s current eligibility information before relying on access to the app, rewards or card.

OKX says foreign-currency purchases made with the card have zero foreign-exchange fees and no conversion markup. That claim concerns card purchases. The launch materials do not detail every potential account-funding cost, identify all funding methods and charges, or establish that every conversion outside the stated stablecoin-to-stablecoin conversions is free.

- Reward tiers: The full OKX Money rate table and qualifying thresholds have not been published in the cited launch materials.
- Yield funding: The cited CoinDesk report says OKX did not explain how the new yield is funded.
