Yes—if you need the processor, motherboard, memory and storage for a new build, Newegg’s $1,165.99 bundle is substantially cheaper than buying the listed parts separately. Tom’s Hardware’s October 14, 2026 deal report puts the separate-purchase total at $1,524.97, making the bundle’s reported saving $358.98, or 23%.

The headline’s $151 memory figure needs context: it is an effective allocation of the bundle discount, not the RAM kit’s checkout price. The 32GB Team T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-6000 kit is listed at $509 on its own, or $459 after the cited $50 coupon.

How the savings compare with buying each part

Purchase route Reported price Difference
Bundle $1,165.99 —
Listed individual-purchase total $1,524.97 $358.98 more than the bundle
Reported discount 23% Tom’s Hardware calculation for 2026

That comparison is the central reason to consider the deal: the discount applies across several expensive components at once, rather than relying on a small reduction on the CPU alone.

What “32GB of DDR5 for $151” actually means

The memory is not sold separately for $151. Its stated standalone price is $509, with a cited coupon code, GTWF223, reducing that checkout price to $459. The effective $151 figure comes from assigning the bundle’s full $358.98 saving to the $509 listed memory price: $509 minus $358.98 is about $150, rounded in the headline to $151.

  • Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.

This accounting method helps show how much of the bundle discount could be viewed as offsetting today’s high DDR5 pricing, but it is not a separate RAM promotion. The bundle price is for all listed components and extras, and the discount cannot be detached from the package.

Does the X870E motherboard justify the bundle?

For a new AM5 system, the motherboard is more than a basic platform. Its four M.2 sockets allow multiple NVMe drives, while PCIe 5.0 provides a current-generation expansion path. Two USB4 ports and 12 rear USB ports suit users with fast external storage, docks and several peripherals. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5GbE cover high-speed wireless and wired networking without add-in cards.

Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 RAM 32GB (2X16GB) 6000MHz CL30 Desktop Memory | Voltage: 1.35v; Supports Intel XMP and AMD EXPO; Module type: UDIMM.
  • Capacity: 32GB (2 x 16GB) 6000MHz
  • Tested Timings: 30-40-40-76
  • Feature Overclock: XMP 3.0 / EXPO overclocking supported
  • Compatibility: Tested across latest DDR5 platforms for reliability on high performance
  • Limited lifetime warranty

Those features matter most if you expect to add storage, use USB4 devices or keep the system for several upgrade cycles. If your build only needs one SSD, a few USB devices and ordinary Wi-Fi, you may not use all of the board’s connectivity; in that case, the bundle’s value comes mainly from the CPU and the combined discount.

Is the included SSD fast and large enough?

The NV5000 supplies 2TB, enough for Windows, applications and a substantial game library at launch. Its PCIe 4.0 rating of 5,000MB/s read and 3,000MB/s write is appropriate for a modern gaming system, and the stated 640TBW endurance provides a useful durability benchmark. It is not a PCIe 5.0 drive, so buyers seeking the highest possible sequential-transfer figures may eventually replace it, but the included capacity avoids the immediate cost of adding storage.

When buying separately can be better

  • You already own compatible parts: paying for another 2TB SSD, cooler or motherboard reduces the practical saving.
  • You need a different memory capacity: 32GB is the included configuration; a separate 64GB kit may suit heavy content creation or virtual machines better.
  • You do not need liquid cooling: the 240mm AIO has value only if your case supports it and you want the included cooling approach.
  • You are choosing a different platform: the bundle is built around AMD’s AM5 socket and the specified X870E board, so it is not useful for a different CPU ecosystem.

Checks to make before ordering

  1. Open the current Newegg listing and confirm that the bundle is in stock at $1,165.99. The report says combo stock has returned, but availability and price can change.
  2. Check whether coupon code GTWF223 still applies and whether its terms alter the displayed total.
  3. Verify that your case supports a 240mm radiator and that your power supply has the required CPU and graphics-card connectors.
  4. Confirm the motherboard’s physical fit, preferred networking method and number of M.2 drives before checkout.
  5. Review the final cart for shipping, taxes, regional restrictions and the exact memory kit; those details can change the effective value.

Verdict: a strong all-at-once build discount

For someone starting a new gaming PC, the arithmetic is compelling: $1,165.99 for the 9800X3D, X870E motherboard, 32GB DDR5-6000, 2TB SSD, 240mm AIO and Onimusha versus a reported $1,524.97 buying the listed parts separately. The effective $151 memory allocation illustrates how much of the $358.98 saving absorbs the unusually high standalone RAM price.

Buy separately only when you already have one of the included components, need a different capacity or do not value the motherboard, cooler or SSD specification. Otherwise, this is one of the more efficient ways to assemble the platform in the current DDR5 pricing environment.
