Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days run October 6–7, 2026, and are open to Prime members. Early TV roundups show meaningful savings on OLED and Mini-LED sets, but they do not confirm the advertised “up to 53% off” maximum. Treat the prices below as dated reports, not guaranteed live offers, and verify the exact model and checkout price before buying.
What to know about the October Prime Day TV deals
Amazon describes Prime Big Deal Days as a 48-hour Prime-member event running October 6–7, 2026. Its event announcement advertises event-wide offers of “up to 55% or more off,” but that figure is not specific to televisions and does not establish a 53% TV discount. Amazon’s event announcement

The TV prices in TechRadar’s September 16 roundup and Tom’s Guide’s roundup, last updated October 2, are snapshots from before or near the event. Neither report verifies a 53% maximum for TVs. A stated saving compares the reported offer price with a prior price; it is not independent proof of the product’s usual market price or its current listing.

How to decide which TV deal is worth buying
Start with room size and screen size
Choose a screen that suits your seating distance and room, rather than buying the largest set because its discount looks substantial. The reported 55-, 65-, and 85-inch options serve different spaces; confirm the dimensions of the television and stand if furniture space is limited.

Compare display type and intended use
OLED and Mini-LED/QLED are different display approaches, and the category name alone does not determine which set is right for you. Compare the model’s picture-quality reviews and features with your room’s lighting and viewing habits. The cited roundups describe the LG and Samsung picks as OLED and the TCL and Hisense examples as Mini-LED or Mini LED QLED.

Refresh-rate support matters only if the TV, input, connected device, and game can use it. Tom’s Guide reports that the Hisense U6 Pro has two HDMI 2.1 inputs and supports 4K gaming up to 144Hz; TechRadar lists 165Hz support for the Samsung S90H. Verify the exact model’s input and gaming specifications before relying on those features.

Include software and connectivity in the comparison
Check the smart-TV platform and the apps you use, along with the number and type of HDMI inputs you need. The cited deal summaries do not provide a consistent smart-platform or port comparison for every set, so consult the exact model listing and manufacturer specifications rather than assuming features from the brand or series name.
Verify the offer before checkout
- Open the live product listing and confirm the model number, screen size, and display variant. Do not rely on a search result or roundup headline alone.
- Check the seller, stock status, delivery terms, and whether the offer is Prime-eligible. Amazon’s event is for Prime members, but individual listing conditions can differ.
- Compare the checkout price with the displayed reference price and look for any conditions attached to the offer. The figures in the table are dated publication reports, not guaranteed current prices.
- Review the return policy and the TV’s dimensions, inputs, refresh-rate support, and smart-TV platform against your needs.
