Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days sale ended at 23:59 on October 7, 2026, but some Apple offers were still being reported the next morning. The clearest examples were a 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB memory and 512GB storage for $1,099, down from $1,299, and AirPods Pro 3 for $179, down from $249. Those dated reports do not verify a $79 AirPods offer or establish that 100 or more deals remained live; check the listing before buying.
What was reported after Prime Big Deal Days ended?
What Hi-Fi? says the October sale ended at 23:59 on October 7, 2026. MacRumors reported on October 8 that several Apple offers continued after the event, while Macworld’s roundup was updated October 7. These are dated price snapshots, not confirmation that a retailer still has the same price or stock now.

Does the reporting support a $79 AirPods deal?
No. The reliable reports cited here identify AirPods Pro 3 at $179, compared with a stated $249 price. They do not verify AirPods at $79. That lower figure may refer to a different model or offer, but without a confirmed product and live retailer listing it should not be treated as an established post-sale deal.

Were 100 or more deals still live?
The cited post-event reporting documents Apple offers, not a verified count of 100 or more deals across retailers and categories. A headline claiming that many live deals needs a current, comprehensive list and checks of the individual listings. The evidence here supports saying that some Apple offers were reported after the event, not that 100-plus deals remained available.
How to check whether a reported deal is still worth buying
- Open the retailer listing and match the full product name and configuration, including size, chip, memory, storage, and, for the watch, GPS and case size.
- Confirm the displayed price, availability, seller, and any membership or eligibility requirement. A reported discount does not guarantee that the same offer remains live.
- Compare the current price with other retailers and relevant recent prices. What Hi-Fi? recommends checking prices elsewhere; Macworld cautions that Apple’s June price increases can affect comparisons with older sale lows.
- Check the country and currency on the listing. Macworld covers US and UK offers, and a price reported for one market should not be carried over to another.
For additional context, consult What Hi-Fi?’s Prime Day coverage, which notes the event end time and advises shoppers to compare prices.
