- Hyrule Castle Town: young Link runs through the town, passing a couple dancing beside a fountain. The camera turns around the square as he climbs stairs, with alleyways, additional buildings and higher sections visible. Vice reports that the post caption described a lively town at the kingdom’s center, with people and shops. Notebookcheck and Vice report on the clips.
- Gerudo Fortress: adult Link uses ladders to reach upper parts of the buildings before the view pans across the surrounding desert. The footage reportedly includes an updated arrangement of the Gerudo Valley theme. Vice reports that the post caption described a fortress in a vast desert where the Gerudo live.
Vice dates the Castle Town post to September 30, 2026, and the Gerudo Fortress post to October 1, 2026. These clips offer glimpses of the remake’s presentation, but the reports do not establish that the visible routes are newly explorable areas or provide a frame-by-frame comparison with the original.
What does Hyrule Castle Town look like in the remake?
The reported Castle Town clip emphasizes movement through the square and its surrounding levels: a fountain-side dance, stairs, and views toward side streets and taller parts of town. Nintendo’s broader announcement says the remake has overhauled visuals and remodeled locations, but the footage reporting does not establish a complete town layout or confirm how every visible building can be explored.
