A $10 cut on the physical Switch 2 preorder was reported in September and again in an early October roundup; those dated reports do not verify the price at checkout on October 7. Nintendo lists the game for Nintendo Switch 2 with a November 5, 2026 release date.
Is Ocarina of Time discounted during Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon’s US event is officially called Prime Big Deal Days, and runs October 6–7, 2026. Amazon says the event includes Prime member-exclusive offers across more than 35 categories, but that does not establish a deal on this particular game.

Tom’s Guide reported on September 18 that Amazon and Walmart had taken $10 off the physical preorder, with the Amazon reduction appearing after the item was added to the cart. An early October roundup subsequently listed it at $59, down from $69, and described Amazon’s offer as a hidden discount. These are dated reports—not confirmation that either retailer still offers those prices at checkout on October 7.

Nintendo says Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo figures are planned for 2027 and can unlock in-game masks. They are future products, not established Prime Big Deal Days discounts. Why this is October Big Deal Days, not summer Prime Day
Amazon’s October sale is Prime Big Deal Days, scheduled for October 6–7, 2026. Amazon’s separate summer Prime Day event ran June 23–26, 2026, so reports or offers from that event should not be treated as current October pricing. Amazon’s June announcement gives the summer dates.
