Nuova Simonelli describes the Oscar as using a heat exchanger and a thermally controlled dispensing group, and says its group includes pre-infusion. Those are manufacturer descriptions, not independently verified findings here: no brew-temperature, shot-quality, or repeatability tests were conducted for this review. They establish the machine’s stated design, not a guarantee of a particular result in the cup.

Nuova Simonelli’s technical sheet lists the original Oscar at 300 × 408 × 400 mm, 13 kg, and 1200 W. The product-page prose rounds its width to 32 cm, so use the technical-sheet width for an exact fit check. The US brochure provides additional specifications for its US tank model and Oscar AD:

Tank Oscar or Oscar AD: choose for the installation
Choose the tank model for flexible placement
The US tank Oscar has a 3 L reservoir, so it does not require a plumbed water line. This is the more flexible configuration if the machine will sit where a water connection is unavailable or inconvenient.
Choose Oscar AD only with suitable plumbing
Oscar AD is the direct-water version. It is intended for an installation with an appropriate water supply; verify connection requirements and installation details before ordering. Do not assume the tank-model setup applies to AD, or vice versa.
