How the display and battery differ
Display: AMOLED versus LCD
Nothing lists a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED panel with adaptive refresh up to 120 Hz; Motorola specifies a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD at 120 Hz. The refresh-rate figures are similar, but the panel technologies are not equivalent. Nothing describes its screen as smooth and responsive in its product copy; that is the manufacturer’s characterization, not an independent display assessment.

Battery: compare capacity, not claimed endurance
The Motorola’s listed 7,000 mAh capacity is higher than either Nothing variant: 5,200 mAh for the global model and 6,000 mAh for India. Capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use; no controlled, like-for-like endurance result is available here. Check the Nothing regional variant before comparing the numbers.

Both phones list a 50 MP main camera. Nothing specifies optical image stabilization, while Motorola identifies its main sensor as Sony LYTIA 600 and lists an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 119.5-degree field of view. Nothing lists an ultra-wide camera with a 119-degree field of view. These details describe hardware, not comparative photo quality; resolution and field of view alone cannot determine which takes better pictures.

Consider the exact version sold in your market, because specifications and configurations can vary by region.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose Nothing if the AMOLED display is your priority
Nothing is the better fit if you specifically want the listed Super AMOLED panel and its 8 GB / 128 GB configuration. Its price should be judged against the current local offer, not a launch price from another country.
Consider Motorola if battery capacity or documented updates matter more
The moto g max has the larger listed battery capacity and a manufacturer-documented commitment of two OS upgrades and three years of security maintenance releases. Those specifications may suit your priorities, but capacity is not a battery-life test.
Verify the regional model before paying
Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market. Confirm the exact regional SKU, supported network bands, storage configuration, warranty and current price with the seller. Also check whether a charger is included and, if buying one separately, whether it is compatible with the local phone version.
