The vivo T5 Pro 5G has the stronger listed battery, charging and display specifications; the Nothing Phone (4a) offers more rear-camera focal-length options, including a periscope zoom camera. Both are listed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, so the specifications alone do not establish which performs better in sustained use. Price is not a clean head-to-head: the available figures come from different markets and listings.

Which phone has the better display, battery and charging?
On listed figures, vivo T5 Pro 5G leads in all three areas: its 6.83-inch panel reaches up to 144Hz, compared with the Phone (4a)’s 6.78-inch, 120Hz display; its battery is listed at 9020mAh versus 5400mAh; and its charging is rated at 90W versus 50W. These specifications favor vivo if a larger screen, higher refresh-rate ceiling or greater stated battery capacity is your priority.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCapacity and charging wattage are not battery-life or charging-time tests. The figures do not establish how long either phone lasts under a particular workload or how quickly it charges in real use.

How do their rear cameras differ?
The Nothing Phone (4a) has more listed camera roles: a main camera, an ultra-wide and a periscope camera with up to 3.5× optical zoom in the 91mobiles comparison. Nothing separately advertises “Up to 70x ultra zoom” on its product page; that marketing claim is not independent validation of optical zoom. The vivo T5 Pro 5G’s official specification lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera.
This makes Nothing the more flexible-looking option on paper if you want distinct ultra-wide and zoom choices. Camera resolution and lens count do not establish photo quality; no comparative photo testing is available here.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are performance, software or durability decisive?
Both phones are listed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, with vivo’s India specification page confirming its chipset. A shared processor name does not prove equal sustained performance, heat management or battery efficiency; those require comparable testing.

vivo’s India page specifies Android 16, Origin OS 6.0, and IP68 and IP69 ratings. Nothing’s product page promotes Nothing OS, but the cited material does not confirm a detailed software version or protection rating for the Phone (4a). It therefore does not support a like-for-like conclusion about software support or water and dust resistance. Check regional specifications if NFC or contactless payments matter: NFC support is not established on vivo’s cited India specification page.
What is the price difference?
There is no reliable universal price gap in the cited listings. The figures are page observations reviewed on October 7, 2026, not guaranteed checkout prices, and they mix markets, retailers and listing states.
| Phone and listing | Observed amount | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing UK | £379 | 8GB+128GB configuration |
| Nothing Phone (4a), 91mobiles India panel | ₹34,999 | Marked out of stock |
| vivo T5 Pro 5G, 91mobiles India panel | ₹36,999 | Shown at Amazon |
| vivo T5 Pro 5G, vivo India Store | ₹41,999 | 8GB+128GB; displayed MRP ₹55,999 |
The UK and India amounts are not directly comparable. Even the two India comparisons do not establish a dependable same-condition checkout difference: the Nothing listing was out of stock, and vivo’s two pages showed different amounts. Check local availability, selected RAM and storage, and the final retailer price before deciding. The vivo India Store listing is the source for its displayed store amount.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo T5 Pro 5G if the larger listed battery, 90W charging, 144Hz display ceiling or stated IP68/IP69 ratings matter most to you.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (4a) if you value the listed periscope zoom and three-camera range, or prefer Nothing’s design and software approach. The camera specifications do not prove better image quality.
- Compare local listings first if price is the deciding factor. Match RAM and storage, confirm stock, and compare the actual checkout price in your market.
- Do not pick on processor name alone: both are listed with the same chipset, and the cited specifications do not show which sustains performance better.
