Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIn Nothing’s UK store listings accessed on 4 October 2026, the Phone (4a) starts at £379 and the Phone (4b) is listed at £299—a current listed-price gap of £80. The clearest distinction in the available product information is camera reach: Nothing promotes a three-camera system and up to 70x ultra zoom for the 4a, while the 4b is the lower-priced option in those UK listings. The prices do not confirm identical memory configurations, so check the exact variant and local price before comparing them.
Nothing Phone (4a) vs Phone (4b): price and key differences
The comparison below combines current UK store listings with reported specifications and official support information. It is not a fully matched specification comparison: the available official information does not establish equivalent memory configurations or provide a complete, side-by-side official spec record for both phones.

How to compare the prices fairly
The £80 difference is arithmetic based on Nothing’s UK listings accessed on 4 October 2026; it is not a published statistic, verified launch-price gap, or proof that the compared phones have the same RAM and storage. Nothing’s 4a page lists an 8GB+128GB option for £379, while the cited listing information does not establish the 4b’s matching configuration. Prices, stock and configurations can change.
- Compare the same country and currency, and check whether each price is from Nothing or a retailer.
- Match RAM and storage before treating the prices as directly comparable.
- Check the live price and availability for the exact variant you intend to buy.
Which phone should you buy?
Choose the Phone (4a) if zoom is a priority
Nothing’s advertised three-camera system and up-to-70x ultra-zoom positioning make the 4a the clearer fit if you specifically want a phone promoted for camera reach. The available information does not establish a controlled camera comparison against the 4b, so the advertised zoom figure should not be read as proof of superior image quality at every zoom level.

Choose the Phone (4b) if its lower UK listing suits your priorities
At £299 in Nothing’s UK listing accessed on 4 October 2026, the 4b is the lower-priced phone in this comparison. Android Central reported its processor, display, battery, durability rating and software details, but that information alone does not show how it performs against the 4a in everyday use. The available evidence does not establish that the 4b is the better value for every buyer.
Decide based on the actual variant and local offer
If you are not choosing primarily for zoom, compare the exact local listings and matched configurations before deciding. A complete official, matched specification comparison for both models is not established here, so the evidence does not support a definitive verdict based on chipset, battery life, display, durability or software support.

Nothing Support recommends a PPS-protocol charger for optimal charging and notes that charging time can vary with protocol and temperature. That guidance does not establish that any generic charger will achieve the manufacturer’s fastest rate; check the official charging specifications and charger compatibility for your model. Nothing Support
For the 4b specifically, Nothing lists a protective case and a pre-applied screen protector in the box. This removes the need to buy those items separately at the outset, but it does not establish what is included with the 4a. Nothing Support
