Nothing Phone 4a vs OPPO F33 Pro 5G: key specifications
This is a comparison of published specifications and India price snapshots, not a hands-on test. OPPO announced the F33 series in India on 15 April 2026. The comparison source lists 5 March 2026 for the Nothing Phone 4a. OPPO specifications below are from its India product materials; Nothing figures are attributed to Gadgets 360 because an official Nothing product page was not available in the sources used here.

Which phone has the better display?
On the published figures, the Nothing Phone 4a has the larger screen and higher stated resolution: 6.78 inches and 1,224 × 2,720, compared with OPPO’s 6.57-inch-class, 1,080 × 2,372 AMOLED display. OPPO specifies adaptive refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz or 120Hz. Gadgets 360 lists 120Hz for Nothing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTreat the Nothing resolution as a reported specification rather than a settled point: the stated diagonal and resolution combination is internally suspicious, and it should be checked against Nothing’s own listing. Screen size and resolution alone also do not establish brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility.

How do the cameras compare?
Front cameras
OPPO officially lists a 50MP autofocus selfie camera with a 100° field of view. That wide framing may be useful for group selfies; it does not, by itself, establish better image quality. Gadgets 360 lists a 32MP front camera for Nothing. The published figures do not settle differences in skin processing, low-light results or video quality.
Rear cameras
Gadgets 360 lists three rear cameras for Nothing: 50MP, 50MP and 8MP. OPPO’s launch release specifies a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait/monochrome camera. Megapixel counts and camera counts are not a substitute for comparable sample photos or testing, and the available official OPPO launch information does not provide a like-for-like camera-quality verdict.
Battery, charging and protection
Battery and charging
OPPO states a 7,000mAh typical capacity and a 6,830mAh rated capacity, with charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Gadgets 360 reports 5,400mAh and 50W for Nothing. These are hardware specifications, not measured battery endurance or charge times; real results depend on usage and charging conditions.
Ingress protection
OPPO publishes IP69K, IP68 and IP66 ratings. Its product information says IP68 submersion testing was conducted at 1.5 metres for 30 minutes and that IP69K testing was carried out by SGS to ISO 20653:2023. These ratings describe controlled tests, not immunity from damage in every exposure or guarantee that a phone will remain protected after wear or repair. The IP64 figure for Nothing comes from Gadgets 360, not an official Nothing source in the materials cited here.

The available snapshots do not establish a fair, current price difference between equivalent configurations. 91mobiles displayed ₹34,999 for Nothing Phone 4a and marked it out of stock; its Amazon-referenced OPPO price was ₹39,999. Separately, an OPPO-branded India storefront displayed ₹33,999 for the F33 Pro 5G 8GB/128GB configuration and marked it sold out. These are snapshots accessed on 4 October 2026, not confirmed live offers, and the sources and availability differ.
| Listing snapshot | Displayed price | Configuration / availability |
|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles comparison, Nothing Phone 4a | ₹34,999 | Marked out of stock; storage configuration not stated by the snapshot |
| 91mobiles comparison, OPPO F33 Pro 5G, Amazon reference | ₹39,999 | Configuration and live listing status not established by the snapshot |
| OPPO-branded India storefront, OPPO F33 Pro 5G | ₹33,999 | 8GB/128GB; marked sold out |
For a meaningful comparison, check both phones on the same day, in India, for the same storage tier, and confirm seller, stock and warranty details on the actual listing. The captured numbers do not justify declaring either phone cheaper.
Which one should you choose?
- Prioritize screen size and stated resolution: the published figures favour Nothing, subject to verifying the unusual resolution specification with Nothing.
- Prioritize a wide-angle selfie frame: OPPO’s stated 50MP autofocus front camera and 100° field of view are the more relevant specifications, though photo quality needs comparable testing.
- Prioritize stated battery capacity, maximum charging rate or published protection ratings: OPPO lists the larger battery, higher maximum charging rate and IP69K/IP68/IP66 ratings.
- Choose on software or real-world speed: the available sources do not establish a current, primary-source update-support comparison or like-for-like performance test. Chip names alone cannot resolve everyday speed.
- Choose on value: check current stock and the price for equivalent storage rather than relying on the conflicting captured snapshots.
OPPO India’s launch release described the F33 series as combining a “segment-best 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera, IP69K durability, massive 7000mAh battery, ColorOS 16, and 5G++ connectivity.” That is OPPO’s own promotional launch wording, not an independently verified comparison finding.
