The Nothing Phone (3a) lists a more varied rear-camera setup, with dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. A reliable current India price difference cannot be calculated from the available listings: vivo’s official store showed ₹41,999 for its 8GB+128GB model on October 4, 2026, but a matched current Nothing price was not established.
At a glance: the key differences

| Battery and charging | 5,000 mAh; 50W charging | 9,020 mAh; 90W charging |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP OIS main, 50 MP telephoto, 8 MP ultra-wide | 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main, 2 MP bokeh |

The published specifications favor vivo for screen size, resolution and refresh rate, battery capacity, and charging wattage. Nothing lists two additional dedicated camera types—a telephoto and an ultra-wide—alongside its main camera. Those specification differences do not, by themselves, prove better real-world display performance, battery life, charging time, or photo quality.

Which display specifications matter?
The vivo T5 Pro 5G’s listed 6.83-inch 1.5K, 144 Hz panel is larger, higher-resolution and faster-refresh than the Phone (3a)’s 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED with adaptive 120 Hz refresh. A higher resolution can mean a sharper image on paper, while a higher refresh-rate ceiling can allow smoother motion in supported content. Actual brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability and how consistently a phone uses its top refresh rate are not established by these headline specifications.

Nothing specifies the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while vivo specifies the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The generation numbers identify different chips, but they are not a substitute for matched benchmarks or hands-on testing. The specifications here do not establish which phone is faster in games, sustained workloads, or everyday use.

Battery capacity and charging
vivo lists a 9,020 mAh battery and 90W charging; Nothing lists 5,000 mAh and 50W charging. That gives the T5 Pro 5G a substantially higher rated capacity and charging wattage. Capacity and wattage alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice: usage, software, temperature, charger compatibility and test conditions matter, and no independent side-by-side endurance or charge-time result is established here.
Nothing says the Phone (3a) will “Maintain over 90% maximum capacity, after 1,200 charging cycles.” That is Nothing’s manufacturer claim, not an independently verified comparison with the vivo handset.

Rear cameras: more focal-length options on Nothing
The Phone (3a) lists a 50 MP optically stabilized main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The T5 Pro 5G lists a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera. Nothing’s published configuration therefore names dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide modules that are not listed in vivo’s setup. Camera counts and megapixels do not determine which phone takes better photos; that would require comparative image testing.

What is the price difference in India?
On October 4, 2026, vivo’s official India store displayed ₹41,999 for the T5 Pro 5G in Cosmic Black with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This is a dated listing price for one configuration, not a permanent price or a guarantee of the price from other sellers. The store also showed other memory configurations.
A current matched India price for the base Nothing Phone (3a) was not established, so there is no defensible rupee or percentage difference to report. Compare the same RAM and storage capacity, seller basis and purchase date; do not use a Nothing Phone (3a) Pro listing as a substitute for the base Phone (3a).
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T5 Pro 5G if its listed larger, higher-resolution, higher-refresh display, larger rated battery or higher charging wattage best matches your priorities.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (3a) if dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide rear cameras matter more to you than the vivo model’s listed battery and display figures.
- Compare live prices at the same memory tier before deciding on value; the available price information does not support a current matched comparison.
- Look for independent matched tests if your decision depends on gaming speed, photo quality, outdoor screen visibility, battery endurance or charging time. The manufacturer specification lists do not settle those questions.
