How much more does the Galaxy A27 5G cost?
The available official prices do not support a reliable direct price difference. Nothing displays starting prices of €329 and €379 for Phone (3a) configurations on its European page. Samsung announced a U.S. starting price of $349.99 for Galaxy A27 5G. The prices use different currencies and markets, and the cited listings do not establish a matching storage configuration. Converting currencies or subtracting these figures would be misleading.

Which phone has the better cameras?
On the listed hardware, Phone (3a) has the more versatile zoom setup: its 50 MP telephoto camera provides 2x optical zoom, alongside a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. Samsung lists a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera. The Nothing also has a higher stated front-camera resolution, 32 MP versus 12 MP.
Those figures describe camera hardware, not the quality of the finished photos. Megapixel counts alone do not show color, dynamic range, low-light performance or processing, and no controlled comparative camera results are established here. Choose Nothing if a dedicated optical-zoom camera is important; judge image quality using comparable samples or reviews rather than resolution figures alone.

Display, performance and battery differences

Nothing lists a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED panel with adaptive 120 Hz refresh. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh. Both are large, high-refresh-rate AMOLED-class screens. The published specifications do not establish which is brighter outdoors or has better color or viewing quality.

Processors
The Phone (3a) uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while the Galaxy A27 5G uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The chip names are not a substitute for comparable device-level tests, so they do not by themselves establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming.

Battery and charging
Both manufacturers list a 5,000 mAh battery. Nothing specifies 50 W wired charging and Samsung specifies 25 W. That gives the Phone (3a) the higher stated charging wattage, but the figures do not establish actual charging time or battery runtime, which depend on usage and charging conditions.

Nothing states three years of Android updates and six years of security patches for Phone (3a). Samsung promises up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates for Galaxy A27 5G. Samsung’s “up to” wording matters, and the companies describe their support commitments differently; the claims should not be treated as identical counting methods.
Both phones carry an IP64 rating. Samsung’s India product information describes protection from dirt and splashes and cautions against beach or pool use; IP64 should not be read as permission to submerge the phone. Samsung’s UK product page lists a Clear Case and a Card Slot Case for Galaxy A27 5G, though local availability and fit should be checked before buying.
