For an India-focused comparison of the 8GB/128GB models, the Nothing Phone (3a) has the lower reported price, while the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion’s India listing advertises a larger battery and faster wired charging. The observed prices differ by about ₹6,000, but they come from different sources and dates, and Motorola’s listing was out of stock. Most importantly, the Edge 70 Fusion’s specifications vary by market: its India model is not the same configuration as the one listed by Motorola in the UK.
Which models are being compared?
This comparison uses the India specifications and price listings where available. That distinction matters: Motorola’s India specification page lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and a 7,000mAh battery for the Edge 70 Fusion, while Motorola’s UK support page lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 model. Motorola also notes that specifications may vary by market. Check the country and exact SKU on the listing before buying.

The available official Nothing page did not provide enough accessible detail for a full, reliable side-by-side comparison of its battery, display and rear cameras, so those values are not filled in with estimates.

| Specification | Nothing Phone (3a) | Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, India model |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, according to Nothing’s official product information. | Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, according to Motorola Support India. Motorola’s UK support listing instead specifies Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. |
| Battery and wired charging | Paired capacity and charging figures were not reliably visible in the captured official product information; see Nothing’s product page. | 7,000mAh battery and 68W charging in Motorola’s India specifications. Motorola’s global product information describes a 5,200mAh version, so do not assume the India capacity applies worldwide. |
| Display | Exact comparable figures were not available in the captured official listing; see Nothing’s product page. | 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED, 2772 × 1272 resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate, per Motorola Support India. |
| Rear cameras | The official listing describes the camera system, but did not provide enough captured detail for a matching hardware table; see Nothing’s product page. | 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide, per Motorola Support India. |
The table is deliberately limited to claims that can be tied to the cited product information. It does not establish which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in a particular user’s routine, or performs better in benchmarks.

What is the India price difference?
For 8GB/128GB, Motorola India displayed the Edge 70 Fusion at ₹30,999 against an MRP of ₹42,999 when its official store was accessed on October 7, 2026; the listing marked the phone out of stock. Gadgets 360 reported a lowest price of ₹24,999 for the Nothing Phone (3a) 8GB/128GB on September 11, 2026. On those dated figures, Nothing is about ₹6,000 cheaper, but this is not a guaranteed current retail difference: one figure is an official-store listing that was unavailable, and the other is an earlier third-party lowest-price report. Check live stock and prices before ordering.
Nothing’s UK listing selected the 8GB/128GB model at £299 and showed it sold out when checked. Its Europe product-page search result showed a starting price of €349. These are separate regional references, not a matched price comparison. The available Motorola global page did not expose a comparable UK price, so the India gap should not be carried over to the UK or Europe.

Which one should you choose?
If you are shopping in India
The Nothing Phone (3a) is the more budget-friendly choice on the cited price snapshot, provided a current seller still offers it near that reported price. The Edge 70 Fusion may suit a buyer prioritising the India model’s stated 7,000mAh battery, 68W charging and high-refresh-rate display, but its cited official listing was out of stock at the time checked. These specifications alone do not prove better real-world battery life, charging time or display quality.

If you are shopping in the UK
Do not assume the India Edge 70 Fusion specification applies. Motorola’s UK support listing identifies a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 model, rather than the Gen 4 listed in India. Nothing’s UK listing showed £299 for 8GB/128GB but was sold out when checked, and a matched Motorola UK price was not established here. Compare live local listings for the exact storage, RAM and regional model rather than using the India price difference.

If camera quality or software support is decisive
The available specifications do not support a fair verdict on comparative camera results or software-support duration. Before choosing on either basis, confirm the full specifications and support policy for the exact regional SKU from the manufacturer, and consult comparable hands-on tests if image quality or update longevity is central to your decision.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the country variant and processor: the Edge 70 Fusion is listed with different Snapdragon generations in India and the UK.
- Match RAM and storage when comparing prices; the cited India figures are both for 8GB/128GB, but come from different listing contexts and dates.
- Check current stock and the final checkout price, not just a displayed MRP or a past lowest-price report.
- For battery, display, camera and software-support comparisons, use full specifications for the same market and variant; the available Nothing listing does not establish every paired figure.
