Which phone has the better camera setup?
Choose Nothing for optical reach
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro’s 50MP periscope camera has optical image stabilization (OIS), a listed 70mm focal length and 3x optical zoom. Nothing also describes 6x zoom as lossless and zoom up to 60x as ultra zoom. Those are different claims: 6x is not the stated optical-zoom level, and 60x is not optical zoom. Motorola lists a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED screen with 2772 × 1272 resolution, HDR10+, refresh rates up to 144Hz and 5200-nit peak brightness. Nothing lists a 6.77-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display with 3000-nit peak brightness. On listed resolution and maximum refresh rate, Motorola has the higher figures; the diagonal sizes are nearly the same. Peak brightness is a vendor-reported specification, not a guarantee of typical brightness in every condition or a direct measurement against the other phone. Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
Motorola specifies a 7000mAh battery and 68W wired charging for the UK variant. Nothing specifies 5000mAh and 50W charging. These figures give Motorola the larger listed capacity and higher rated charging power, but they do not show how long either phone lasts in use or how quickly it charges under comparable conditions. Performance and software support
Both official specification pages name the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The supplied specifications do not include an independent performance benchmark, so they do not support a claim that one phone is faster in everyday use or gaming.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Pick the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if a dedicated periscope camera and 3x optical zoom are your priority, or if its local like-for-like offer is better.
- Pick the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if you value its higher listed refresh rate and resolution, larger nominal battery, higher rated wired charging, or its stated UK security-update end date.
- Compare locally before deciding if you want a clear value winner: the available prices cover different currencies, configurations and stock conditions, so they cannot establish a universal winner.
Check these details before ordering
- Confirm the exact regional model and its RAM, storage and network-band compatibility.
- Check current stock, seller identity, warranty coverage and final delivered price.
- Review what is included in the box and whether a charger or other accessory is supplied; the cited specifications do not establish box contents.
