The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro’s clearest hardware distinction is its dedicated 50 MP periscope camera with 3× optical zoom; the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G lists a larger 6,000 mAh battery and a security-update end date of July 31, 2032. Both have 120 Hz AMOLED-class displays. Neither the available specifications nor the price snapshot establishes an overall winner: compare the exact storage variant and current price, and treat camera quality and real-world speed as untested here.

Which phone offers more camera flexibility?
Nothing: a dedicated 3× optical periscope
Nothing specifies a 50 MP OIS periscope camera with 3× optical zoom, alongside a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide. A dedicated telephoto lens gives the camera system a stated optical-zoom option rather than relying only on cropping from the main camera. That is a hardware distinction, not proof that it produces better photos.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Samsung: triple rear cameras, with fewer details in the listing
Samsung describes a triple rear camera setup with OIS and a 12 MP front camera. The available product details do not establish equivalent optical zoom or enough sensor and lens information to compare image quality directly. Choose based on the camera features you need, but do not treat megapixel counts or lens labels as a substitute for comparable photo tests.

Battery capacity and charging are not the same as battery life
Samsung lists a 6,000 mAh typical battery, compared with 5,000 mAh for the Nothing. Nothing specifies 50 W charging and Samsung specifies 45 W. Those are manufacturer capacity and charging specifications; they do not show how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use, or how quickly it charges under identical conditions. Measured endurance would depend on factors such as screen use, network conditions and workload.
Both screens are 120 Hz AMOLED-class panels
Nothing’s listed display is 6.77 inches, FHD+ flexible AMOLED, with adaptive 120 Hz refresh. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel at 120 Hz. The Nothing is marginally larger by the stated diagonal; Samsung explicitly uses the Super AMOLED label. These specifications do not establish differences in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility under independent testing.
Software support: Samsung gives a dated security commitment
Samsung states that the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G’s security-update period is valid until July 31, 2032, and its product materials list Android 16. The captured Nothing product page does not establish a directly comparable update term. That is an evidence gap, not proof that Nothing offers no updates; check Nothing’s current policy for this model before ranking support duration.

Price difference: a dated third-party snapshot, not a current guarantee
On October 7, 2026, 91mobiles listed Amazon prices of ₹27,999 for the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and ₹26,190 for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G—a displayed difference of ₹1,809, with Nothing higher. This is a third-party snapshot, not official pricing or a guaranteed current gap. The comparison page’s storage context differs, and the inspected Samsung 8 GB/256 GB official page showed “Not for sale” without a usable price.
Before deciding on value, check the retailer listings on the same day for the exact RAM and storage variants. Account for seller, stock, discounts and exchange offers; a price difference across unlike configurations is not a reliable like-for-like comparison.
Performance: the chipset names do not settle the result
The listed processors are Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in the Nothing and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the Samsung. Chipset labels alone do not establish everyday responsiveness, gaming performance or sustained speed. The comparison page reported no Samsung benchmark result and said the phone was yet to be reviewed, so there is no supported tested performance ranking here.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if a dedicated 3× optical periscope camera is the feature you value most, or if its 50 W charging specification matters to you.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if its higher stated battery capacity or its published security-update end date is more important to your decision.
- For price or overall value, compare live listings for equivalent storage configurations. The available snapshot is too variant-sensitive and time-sensitive to establish which is cheaper today.
- For camera quality or speed, seek comparable independent tests; the listed specifications do not prove a winner.
