The Motorola Signature has the higher listed refresh rate, a larger display, and faster stated wired and wireless charging; Nothing Phone (3) stands out with four 50MP cameras and its Glyph interface. The price figures available for these models are not a like-for-like current comparison: Nothing’s UK page displayed £549 for the 12GB/256GB model, while Motorola’s €999 figure is a launch MSRP for selected European countries. Here is how the specifications compare—and what the prices can and cannot tell you.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent performance or camera test results. Motorola’s UK specifications list one 16GB/512GB Signature configuration; Nothing’s 2025 launch terms listed two Phone (3) configurations.

Which phone has the stronger listed hardware?
Chipset and everyday performance
The Signature lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Phone (3) lists a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The chipset names show that these are different platforms, but they are not a substitute for controlled speed, gaming, battery-life, or thermal tests. The available manufacturer specifications do not establish which phone performs better in real use.

Display size and refresh rate
Motorola lists a 6.8-inch 165Hz Extreme AMOLED display with 2780×1264 resolution. Phone (3) has a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen. On paper, the Signature has both the larger panel and higher listed refresh rate. Cameras
Nothing’s official page markets four 50MP cameras; Motorola’s materials describe a 50MP camera system. Camera count and megapixel labels do not establish photo or video quality. A fair verdict would require comparable testing across daylight, low light, portraits, zoom, video, and front-camera use.
Charging
The Signature’s listed maximums—90W wired and 50W wireless—are higher than Phone (3)’s listed 15W wireless charging. Nothing also states that Phone (3) can charge from 1% to 50% in under 20 minutes, but that is a manufacturer claim and does not specify a directly comparable full-charge result here. Charging speed can depend on the charger, cable, temperature, and other conditions; wattage alone does not guarantee a particular time.

Software support: what is established
Motorola’s launch announcement promises up to seven OS updates and up to seven years of security updates from the Signature’s global launch. Those are company-stated maximums and the security period is anchored to global launch, not to an individual buyer’s purchase date. The cited Nothing product page does not give an equivalent support-duration commitment. That absence on this page is not evidence that Nothing offers no support policy; it means these sources do not establish a directly comparable duration.

| Price evidence | What it represents |
|---|---|
| Nothing Phone (3): £549 | Price displayed for the 12GB/256GB selection on Nothing’s UK product page when accessed in 2026. It is a displayed UK page price, not a historical launch RRP. |
| Nothing Phone (3): £799 / £899 | UK launch RRPs for 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, respectively, in Nothing’s preorder terms last updated 3 July 2025. See Nothing’s preorder terms. |
| Motorola Signature: €999 starting MSRP | Motorola’s launch starting MSRP in selected European countries. It is not established as a current UK price or a global price. See Motorola’s launch announcement. |
For a meaningful buying comparison, check live prices in the same country and compare the same storage class, unlocked or contract status, and seller type. The cited evidence does not establish a current UK Signature price, so subtracting its European launch MSRP from Nothing’s displayed UK price would be misleading. Nothing’s current displayed price also differs from its historical launch RRP, illustrating why launch and live prices should not be treated as interchangeable.

Which should you choose?
- Consider the Signature if its larger, higher-refresh listed display, higher stated charging wattages, 16GB/512GB configuration, or stated update commitment best fits your priorities—and verify its current local price before buying.
- Consider Phone (3) if you want Nothing’s Glyph interface, its four-camera 50MP marketing configuration, or a lower current UK displayed price for the 12GB/256GB version.
- Wait for independent comparisons if your decision depends on speed, camera quality, battery endurance, or real charging times. The manufacturer specifications and price claims cited here do not settle those comparisons.
