Two different processor platforms
Nothing lists the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while Samsung lists the Exynos 2500. These names establish that the phones use different platforms, but they do not establish which is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. No directly comparable benchmark results are available here, so processor names alone are not a sound basis for declaring a performance winner.

Both screens support 120 Hz
Both manufacturers list 120 Hz AMOLED-class displays. Nothing’s panel has the higher stated resolution at 1260 × 2800, compared with Samsung’s FHD+ 1080 × 2340. Nothing also lists 460 ppi and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. That brightness figure is a manufacturer specification, not a directly comparable measurement against Samsung’s cited listing.
Samsung describes its screen as 6.7 inches across the full rectangle and 6.6 inches when rounded corners are accounted for. That explains why the usable display area may be represented by a smaller diagonal than the headline size.

What do the battery and charging specifications establish?
Samsung lists a 4,900 mAh typical battery and claims up to 29 hours of video playback. Nothing’s cited product page describes 15 W wireless charging and 5 W reverse wireless charging, but does not state a battery capacity. Samsung’s cited page does not provide a charging-speed figure that can be compared directly with Nothing’s wireless rates. These listings therefore do not establish which phone lasts longer or charges faster overall.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a reliable price difference?
Not from the available listings. Nothing’s Luxembourg store showed €649 for the selected Phone (3) listing, while its collection page displayed €849 as a reference price. Both figures are market- and time-sensitive, and the reference price should not be treated as a universal recommended retail price. Samsung’s cited page is a UK specifications listing, not a UK retail-price source.

A third-party Pakistan comparison lists prices in rupees for both models, but those regional listings cannot establish a price gap for buyers in Luxembourg, the UK or another market. The comparison also needs to match storage tiers. Before buying, compare locally available versions with the same storage capacity, and confirm whether a displayed discount is current.

Which one should you choose?
Choose based on the specifications that matter to you
- Consider Phone (3) if its higher listed display resolution, four 50 MP cameras, periscope hardware, or wireless and reverse wireless charging are priorities.
- Consider Galaxy S26 FE if the listed 4,900 mAh battery capacity, stated video-playback claim, or Samsung’s published security-update validity date through 30 September 2033 is important to your decision.
- Compare locally before judging value. The available price evidence comes from different regional contexts and does not establish a like-for-like price difference.
Neither specification sheet proves a universal winner. Decide using the features you value, then verify the exact local model, storage configuration, price and availability.
