Which VPN should you choose?
Choose NordVPN if you need more connections
NordVPN lists 10 simultaneous connections, compared with CyberGhost’s seven. That makes NordVPN the stronger fit if your household or devices are likely to exceed CyberGhost’s limit. The figures describe simultaneous connections, not an unlimited number of devices connected at once.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesChoose CyberGhost if its server categories match your activities
CyberGhost lists servers optimized for streaming, P2P, and gaming, making those categories easier to find in its service offering. That organization does not guarantee access to a specific streaming service or catalog: compatibility can change with the service, territory, account, and time.

Choose based on the tools you will actually use
NordVPN lists Double VPN, Onion Over VPN, and obfuscated servers. CyberGhost lists protocols including WireGuard as well as its specialized server categories. These are different options, not evidence on their own of better speed or security. Check the plan you intend to buy, since NordVPN reserves some bundled extras for higher tiers.
Is CyberGhost cheaper than NordVPN?
The available pricing information does not establish a universal cheapest option. Subscription prices, discounts, taxes, currencies, and renewal amounts can vary by country and subscription length. Compare the final checkout totals for equivalent terms, then check what each service will charge when the introductory period ends. A low advertised starting price alone does not settle the comparison.

Which VPN has the longer money-back guarantee?
CyberGhost offers the longer stated period on longer subscriptions: 45 days for subscriptions of six months or more, versus NordVPN’s 30-day guarantee. For CyberGhost, the one-month subscription period is 14 days. CyberGhost says its guarantee does not govern purchases made through Google Play, Apple’s App Store, or Amazon Appstore; those stores apply their own refund policies. Confirm the current terms and purchase channel before subscribing.

What do the providers say about privacy?
Both providers publish no-logs claims and describe external reviews, but the available details are not directly comparable. Nord Security says Deloitte conducted NordVPN’s sixth reported no-logs examination in 2025, following earlier examinations by PwC and Deloitte. CyberGhost says Deloitte is among the firms that reviewed its systems, but the support page consulted does not give a specific audit date.
