When did the 2026 Anniversary Sale run?
The 2026 public sale ran July 18 through August 9, and Nordstrom now says the event has wrapped up. Cardmember early access was staggered by Nordy Club status: Icons could shop July 14–17, Ambassadors July 15–17, and Influencers July 16–17. The dates are listed in Nordstrom’s FAQ; the public dates are also confirmed by its 2026 press gallery.
Early access required a Nordstrom card. Nordstrom says card applications are subject to credit approval, so early access should not be treated as a guaranteed benefit of simply joining its loyalty program.

The calendar changes from year to year. For example, Nordstrom announced that the 2025 public sale ran July 12–August 3, with early access July 8–11 depending on Nordy Club status. Those are historical dates, not a guide to the next event. Check Nordstrom’s current FAQ for the next schedule.

How to plan for the event
- Preview the sale and save items. Nordstrom recommends browsing ahead and creating a wish list. Use that list to keep track of the pieces you actually want.
- Check access and dates. If early access matters to you, confirm the current year’s schedule and eligibility with Nordstrom; the 2026 tier dates are not a standing calendar.
- Recheck items when shopping opens. Nordstrom advises moving saved items into the shopping bag when the sale starts. Confirm the item, size, price and availability at checkout rather than assuming a saved listing is reserved.
- Choose a shopping channel. Nordstrom recommends shopping online for the best selection or contacting a Nordstrom stylist for free style help. Its FAQ also lists free shipping and returns, curbside pickup and returns, expedited shipping, same-day delivery in select areas and international shipping. Availability and terms depend on the item, location and current policies.
Nordstrom warns shoppers that stores will be busy during the event. Planning ahead can make the experience more manageable, but it does not guarantee stock or a particular deal.

Which one should you shop?
If you want new-season fall merchandise during Nordstrom’s designated summer event, the Anniversary Sale is the relevant event—but the 2026 edition has ended. If you are shopping outside its dates, browse Nordstrom’s regular sale and designer-clearance categories instead, and compare the item’s current price and terms. The official information does not support assuming the Anniversary Sale always offers the lowest price.
For the next Anniversary Sale, use Nordstrom’s FAQ for dates and access details, then check the live assortment when shopping begins. Nordstrom’s sale page is the place to look for current sale listings outside the event.
