Noble Audio FoKus Artemis vs. Premium Wireless Headphones: What to Compare Before Buying

The Noble Audio FoKus Artemis is worth comparing with premium wireless headphones if you care most about detailed sound, hearing-personalized EQ, broad wired and wireless options, and replaceable parts. Its reviewed strengths are less compelling if your top priorities are class-leading noise cancellation, a secure fit, luxury-level finish, or lower cost. Compare those trade-offs—not just its three-driver design—against the headphones you are considering.

What makes the Artemis different?

Three driver types, with sound still a matter of listening

Noble specifies one dynamic driver, one planar driver, and one balanced-armature driver in each earcup. The company positions the dynamic driver for low-frequency impact, the planar driver for speed and clarity, and the balanced armature for high-frequency detail. That is a description of the design, not proof that it sounds better than a competing headphone. The favorable sound assessments come from reviewers: TechRadar’s Harry Padoan praised its nuanced presentation and spacious soundstage, while Tom’s Guide’s Peter Wolinski also highlighted detailed sound.

Personalized EQ and controls

The Noble FoKus app includes Audiodo hearing personalization, custom EQ, and spatial-audio controls. Noble says the personalization profile and EQ are saved on the headphones. Padoan reports that the hearing assessment creates an EQ profile for each ear and found it effective. Treat this as an audio-personalization feature, not a hearing test or treatment for hearing loss. Padoan found spatial audio underwhelming, so buyers should not assume that feature will be a reason to choose the Artemis.

Wireless codecs and wired listening

Noble lists Bluetooth 6.0 and support for LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, plus multipoint. Codec support only helps when the transmitting phone, computer, or other source also supports the selected codec. For wired playback, the Artemis supports USB-C audio and includes a 3.5mm cable. See Noble Audio’s current product specifications.

How does it compare on the things that matter day to day?

Comparison point What the Artemis offers What to weigh against other premium headphones
Sound and tuning Three driver types and Audiodo personalization; reviewers praised detail and soundstage. Decide whether you prefer its reviewed sound and personalized EQ to another model’s tuning. Driver count alone is not a sound-quality ranking.
Noise cancellation ANC is included; TechRadar described it as average. If blocking commuting or aircraft noise is your priority, compare the exact competing models. TechRadar names Bose and Sony as stronger ANC reference points, but the cited coverage does not provide standardized head-to-head measurements.
Fit and comfort TechRadar lists the weight as 324g and reviewer Padoan found it comfortable, though relatively loose-fitting. Fit is personal. A loose seal may let outside sound in, so try the headphones if possible, especially if you plan to use them on flights or in noisy places.
Battery and parts Noble claims 55+ hours with ANC off and 35+ hours with ANC on. The battery is user-replaceable, and the ear cushions attach magnetically for replacement. Compare the runtime you need with ANC enabled, and whether replaceable parts matter to you. Future battery replacement depends on Noble continuing to supply batteries.
Finish and value It is positioned at a premium price; Tom’s Guide’s Wolinski questioned its app and luxury finish relative to expectations at that price. Compare build, controls, app polish, and current regional pricing with alternatives rather than assuming similar prices mean similar refinement.

What do reviewers say about its trade-offs?

Sound and calls are strengths in TechRadar’s review

Padoan praised the soundstage, nuanced sound, personalized EQ, comfort, call quality, and battery runtime. Those are his review findings, not standardized results that establish how every listener will experience the headphones.

ANC and fit may matter more than the sound design

In TechRadar’s account, the stronger ANC mode reduced typing and light chatter but let louder aircraft and traffic noise through. Padoan also described the fit as relatively loose. Tom’s Guide likewise praised detailed sound and personalization, while Wolinski felt the app and finish did not match the luxury impression he expected at the price. These are reviewer judgments; they are useful signals for deciding what to try in person, not universal rankings.

Source and date Reported price or status How to interpret it
TechRadar, October 3, 2026 $899 / £799 Review price at publication; the review said shipping began in August 2026.
Tom’s Guide, 2026 $899 / £799 Review listing; check current local retailer pricing.

What Hi-Fi? launch report, June 2026 £799 / $899 / €949 Announcement-period list prices. The report also listed Bluetooth 5.4, while Noble’s current product page and October reviews specify Bluetooth 6.0; earlier coverage may reflect pre-release information.

Tom’s Guide names the B&W Px8 S2 and B&O Beoplay H95 as alternatives in the same broad price conversation, describing them as more polished or luxurious; it also calls the Px8 S2 less expensive at the prices it quoted in the US and UK. That is Wolinski’s comparison, not a universal value verdict. Check current prices and compare exact models before deciding.

How to decide before you buy

  1. Rank your priorities. Choose whether sound character and personalization, ANC, fit, finish, or price matters most. The Artemis’s reviewed sound strengths will not compensate for an unsuitable fit or insufficient noise cancellation.
  2. Check your audio sources. Confirm that your phone or computer supports the Bluetooth codec you want to use. If not, consider whether USB-C audio or the included 3.5mm cable fits your listening setup.
  3. Compare battery needs realistically. Noble’s claims are 55+ hours with ANC off and 35+ hours with ANC on; consider which condition better reflects how you use headphones. Noble also lists a 600mAh user-replaceable battery.
  4. Consider long-term parts support. Magnetic replaceable cushions and a user-replaceable battery can be useful ownership features, but they do not guarantee that replacement parts will remain available indefinitely.
  5. Check weight, seal, and comfort. TechRadar lists 324g and reports a loose fit despite finding the headphones comfortable. If possible, try them on before committing, particularly if a secure seal is important to ANC performance.
  6. Compare exact models and local totals. Recheck regional price and stock, then compare the Artemis with the specific B&W, B&O, Bose, or Sony model you are considering. The cited reviews identify alternatives and priorities, but do not provide a complete feature-by-feature comparison.

Battery and water-resistance details

Noble claims 55+ hours of playback with ANC off and 35+ hours with ANC on; TechRadar and Tom’s Guide list 55 and 35 hours, respectively. Noble specifies a 600mAh user-replaceable battery and magnetic replaceable ear cushions. A replaceable battery improves repairability in principle, but future replacement depends on Noble continuing to make batteries available.

The official specification is IP52 water resistance. TechRadar describes this as protection from dust ingress and water sprays. It is not a claim that the headphones are waterproof or suitable for immersion. See Noble Audio’s product page for its stated specifications.
