No new Gran Turismo 7 game release has been announced for December 2026. The $749.99 announcement is for Thrustmaster’s T-GT III steering wheel and pedal bundle, an officially licensed PS4 and PS5 accessory that the manufacturer says will be available from December 3, 2026.
What is the $749.99 Gran Turismo 7 release?
It is a hardware announcement, not a new game. Thrustmaster describes the T-GT III as a steering wheel and pedal bundle designed for Gran Turismo and officially licensed for Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Its announcement lists a US recommended retail price of $749.99; retailers may set different prices. Thrustmaster’s announcement says the bundle will be available from December 3, 2026.

What does the T-GT III bundle include?
Thrustmaster says the bundle includes a T-GT steering wheel with a leather finish and four rotary encoders mapped for Gran Turismo. The manufacturer calls it the first Direct Axial Drive bundle designed for Gran Turismo and presents it as a turnkey package. These are the company’s announced product details; they are not independent performance findings.
How does Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV fit in?
The announcement also outlines a planned schedule for the free Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV update: two parts, with the first expected in October 2026 and the second in December 2026. Thrustmaster’s announcement says: “The Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV free update will be released in two parts, with the first arriving in October 2026 and the second in December 2026.” That is a stated future schedule, not confirmation that either part has shipped, and it does not announce a new game.
