Amazon UK’s Nintendo Switch 2 price was reported at £354.99 on 5 October 2026—£65 below the £419.99 reference price cited by TechRadar. That is a dated report, not confirmation that the offer or stock is still available: check the live listing and checkout total before buying. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event runs from 6 to 7 October, but the event’s Prime-member eligibility does not by itself establish that this console listing requires Prime.

The £419.99 reference figure followed a reported rise from the £395.99 launch price. TechRadar said the increase came the previous month, while Nintendo Life reported that it happened earlier in 2026. Neither article cites an official Nintendo price notice explaining the change, so the timing and cause should be treated as reported rather than confirmed by Nintendo. Nintendo Life’s 28 September report also said it was unclear how long the lower retailer price would last.
When does Prime Big Deal Days run?
Amazon UK calls the event Prime Big Deal Days. Its announcement says the UK event starts at 12:01 a.m. BST on 6 October 2026 and runs through 7 October. Amazon describes the event as exclusive to Prime members, but that general event condition does not establish whether Prime is required to buy this particular console listing. - Seller and stock: Check who is selling the console, whether it is in stock, and the stated delivery date.
- Product type: Confirm whether the listing is for the console alone or a bundle. Do not assume a separately announced bundle is included.
- Offer terms: Check whether the specific listing has a Prime requirement, and review its return terms before ordering.
Are other UK retailers matching the price?
TechRadar also reported £354.99 offers at Argos, John Lewis and Smyths on 5 October 2026. Those are dated reports: verify each retailer’s live price, seller, stock and delivery before comparing. A matching headline price may not mean the listings have the same availability or product contents.
