Nintendo UK has announced two dated Switch 2 bundles for October 2026, plus a Zelda-themed console edition. The holiday lineup also includes The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 in a broad 2026 window, with no specific date announced in the September Direct. These announcements give the console a substantial second-year slate, though they do not by themselves prove it is the strongest second year for a Nintendo system.
Confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 holiday bundles in the UK
Nintendo UK’s September 16, 2026 announcement gives two October availability dates. Both bundles include a full game download and a code for an individual three-month Nintendo Switch Online membership. Nintendo did not state UK bundle prices in the announcement.

Games announced for the holiday period
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
The game is the digital download included with the UK bundle available October 22. Nintendo UK’s September Direct page also lists an October 22 release date. See Nintendo UK’s September 6, 2026 Direct overview for the announcement.

Mario Kart World
The game is included as a download in the UK Switch 2 bundle available October 29. Nintendo’s announcement specifies the membership code as individual and three months long; it does not state a UK bundle price.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Nintendo UK’s September Direct lists Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 as “Launching on Nintendo Switch 2 this year.” That establishes a 2026 window, not an exact holiday launch date. Do not treat it as a dated October or November release.

Japan has a separate November offer
Nintendo announced a Japanese-language Switch 2 bundle for Japan only, available November 12, 2026, for 63,980 yen including tax. It includes the console and listed system accessories, plus a choice of one download code: Mario Kart World or Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for Switch 2, or Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream for Switch. This is a Japan-specific system and offer, not a price or bundle option for UK buyers. Details are in Nintendo’s Japan-only bundle announcement.
How the holiday announcements fit into Switch 2’s second year
Nintendo’s February 2026 investor presentation showed a wider first-party slate spanning 2026 and beyond: Pokémon Pokopia, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Splatoon Raiders. Some titles had only broad year or seasonal windows in that presentation, so it is not a substitute for later release-date announcements. Nintendo described the lineup as a way to build platform momentum, saying it was “further accelerating the momentum of the platform” by preparing a diverse lineup including Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Splatoon Raiders. The statement appears in Nintendo’s February 2026 Financial Results Explanatory Material.

As a measure of software performance—not console sales—Nintendo reported that Pokémon Pokopia exceeded 4 million global cumulative sell-through units in its first five weeks after its March 5, 2026 release. The figure is Nintendo-reported and appears in its May 2026 investor material; it does not establish holiday demand or a generational sales ranking.
Nintendo UK’s December 2025 2026 games overview is useful as an earlier snapshot, but Nintendo said dates shown were accurate at publication. The September 2026 Direct is the later official overview in this set. It also lists Xenoblade Genesis for 2027, outside the holiday 2026 window.
Quick Recap
What to check before choosing a bundle
- Choose by game: the two UK game bundles include different downloads, while the Zelda anniversary edition’s announcement does not list a game.
- Check the format: the UK bundle games are full digital downloads, not stated physical cartridges.
- Confirm price and stock: Nintendo UK’s announcement gives no bundle prices. Retailer pricing and availability may differ and can change.
- Check region: the 63,980-yen offer is for Japan and a Japanese-language system; do not assume it is available in the UK.
- Keep release windows distinct: only the listed dates are firm dates in the cited announcements; Ocarina of Time has a 2026 window without a day or month.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
