Nintendo Music is included with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership at no extra charge. You need a Nintendo Account, but not a Nintendo Switch console: listen in the mobile app on a compatible phone or tablet, or use Nintendo’s web player on a computer. Availability is limited to certain countries, so check your region before signing up.
What’s included with Nintendo Music?
Nintendo Music is a growing library of music from Nintendo games. You can search for tracks, browse by game series or character, play soundtracks and curated playlists, and make your own playlists. Nintendo says its playlists include groupings around game titles, characters, and battle music.

The catalog includes music from both newer and older games. Examples named in the current Google Play listing include Mario Kart World, Pikmin 4, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. These are examples, not a complete catalog. Nintendo describes the library as growing, but does not publish a catalog-size figure.

Do you need Nintendo Switch Online?
Yes. An active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required, and Nintendo Music is a membership benefit rather than a separately sold music subscription. You also need a Nintendo Account. The membership itself is sold separately, and Nintendo Switch Online plans and prices vary by country; check Nintendo’s Canadian membership page or the equivalent local Nintendo site for current options and terms.
Nintendo’s Canadian page says a family membership can be shared with up to seven other members, and everyone on that membership can use Nintendo Music. Eligible users may also be able to try the service through a Nintendo Switch Online free trial. Trial availability and renewal terms depend on region and account eligibility, so check the local offer before starting.
