What the historical Z6II prices do—and don’t—tell you

These figures are from different dates and markets, and one is explicitly body-only. They are useful historical reference points, not directly comparable offers. Neither establishes what the Z6II costs now.

How to judge a Z6II or Prime Day camera listing
Before comparing prices, make sure the listings are for equivalent products. A body-only camera and a kit with a lens are not the same purchase, and a lower sticker price may not mean a lower delivered cost.

- Model and kit: Confirm that the listing is for the Nikon Z6II, not another Z-series model, and identify the exact lens or accessories included.
- Condition: Distinguish new from open-box or used stock; check what the listing says about wear, returns and included items.
- Seller and warranty: Check who sells the camera, whether the stock is intended for your region, and what warranty coverage applies.
- Delivered price: Account for shipping, taxes, coupons and rebates. Compare the amount you would actually pay.
- Availability: Verify the offer is live and shippable to your location. A past promotion—or an expired deal page—is not a current offer.
- Included essentials: Check the memory card format, lens mount, battery and other accessories you would otherwise need to buy.
Historical deal coverage has mentioned B&H Photo Video, Adorama and Crutchfield, but that does not establish that any of them currently has a Prime Day offer. Confirm prices and terms directly with retailers.
What the Nikon Z6II offers
Nikon’s technical specifications describe the Z6II as a Nikon Z-mount interchangeable-lens camera with 24.5 million effective pixels and a 35.9 × 23.9 mm sensor. Cards and storage
Nikon lists SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, including UHS-II SD cards, as well as CFexpress Type B and XQD media. Check the supported format for each slot and the specific card you plan to use before buying; don’t assume every format fits every slot. The listed battery is one EN-EL15c rechargeable battery. Video modes: check frame rate, crop and bit depth together
Nikon’s technical specifications list 4K UHD at 24, 25 and 30 frames per second, and Full HD modes up to 120 fps. Nikon’s product-page marketing separately describes a 4K 60p option enabled by a February 2021 firmware upgrade; it is limited to 8-bit recording and DX-crop mode.
