Newegg’s FantasTech Sale II is scheduled for October 5–11, 2026, overlapping Amazon Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7, according to Tom’s Guide’s October 2 report. U.S. shoppers who buy a product bearing Newegg’s FantasTech Price Protection badge on Newegg.com from September 28 through October 4 can receive an automatic refund if that same item’s Newegg.com price drops by October 11. The protection does not cover a lower price at Amazon or another retailer.

Newegg’s campaign page and announcement describe thousands of offers across areas such as PC hardware, consumer electronics, gaming peripherals and lifestyle technology. They do not establish a particular discount or show that a named product is the lowest-priced option in the market. Check the live listing and final checkout price before buying.
How Newegg’s automatic refund works
To qualify, buy from Newegg.com in the U.S. during the September 28–October 4 early-buy window, and make sure the individual product page displays the FantasTech Price Protection badge. If Newegg.com lowers the price of that same eligible item by October 11, Newegg says it will automatically refund the qualifying difference to the original payment method by October 21. The policy says there is no enrollment or claim form.
The refund calculation excludes applicable sales tax and loyalty or membership discounts. Newegg processes only differences greater than $1. The official policy also excludes shipping, mail-in rebates, combo offers, free gifts, promotional gift cards and products subject to Newegg’s Price Match Guarantee. Newegg reserves the right to limit quantities, exclude bulk or NeweggBusiness purchases, and modify or discontinue the program.

Newegg says the automatic refund does not change a purchase’s return eligibility or return window. Price protection is not a return-policy extension.
Check these details before buying
- Confirm the badge on the product page. The offer does not apply storewide; an item must be marked FantasTech Price Protection.
- Check the storefront and country. The automatic offer applies to eligible purchases on Newegg.com in the U.S., not Newegg.ca.
- Buy within the early window. Purchases must be made September 28–October 4 to fit the published terms.
- Watch the same item on Newegg.com through October 11. A price drop at Amazon or another site does not trigger Newegg’s refund.
- Account for exclusions and the threshold. The calculated difference must be more than $1, and excluded charges or promotions do not count.
How to compare Newegg and Amazon offers
The sale dates overlap, but the price-protection promise is not a lowest-price guarantee across retailers. Compare the exact model number and seller, then check availability, shipping, return terms and the final delivered price. Treat a crossed-out reference price or advertised percentage off as a claim to verify, not proof that the offer beats another retailer’s price.

No calendar reminders, no refreshing the page at midnight, no stress.” That is Newegg’s description of its own offer; the policy’s badge, dates and exclusions determine whether a purchase qualifies.
