Older listings showing September 24 or Cherry Red Records Stadium refer to the original plan, not where or when the match was played.

Where to look for official coverage now
There is no live event to tune into. A search result or surviving event page is not proof that a complete replay remains playable: on-demand rights and retention periods can change. Check that a listing explicitly says full match or replay before paying. If it is labelled highlights, expect a shorter edited package rather than the complete game.

- Search the official club and match archives. Newcastle United and AFC Wimbledon’s official sites and video channels are sensible places to look for match reports, clips and reaction. Newcastle’s fixture archive is available through its October 1 match-report page.
- Check the Carabao Cup broadcaster in your country. Search for both “Newcastle United vs. AFC Wimbledon” and “AFC Wimbledon vs. Newcastle United,” with the date October 1, 2024. Listings may reverse the team order.
- Verify the video type and access terms. Confirm whether the result is a full-match replay, highlights, or a written report, and whether it requires an account, subscription or eligible location.
UK: Sky Sports+ was the original live listing
Newcastle United’s original fixture announcement named Sky Sports+ for live UK coverage. That was the broadcast plan for the fixture, not a promise that the match remains available on demand now.
For any replay, check Sky’s current on-demand listings and the terms of the specific Sky or NOW product you use. Access can depend on the package and platform; do not assume that every Sky customer, NOW pass or Sky Sports app login includes the same event archive. No verified free official live stream was established for the original UK broadcast, and a live subscription now would not make this completed fixture live again.
United States: Paramount+ listing is highlights, not proof of a full replay
Paramount+ has an official Carabao Cup hub and an AFC Wimbledon–Newcastle video page. The fixture page is identified as an eight-minute highlights video. It does not establish that a complete match replay is currently available. Check the page in your location and confirm its format and playability before subscribing for this match alone.

VPNs do not provide the match rights

Services may block VPN addresses, and bypassing geographic limits may conflict with their terms. Use the service available in your location and follow local law and the platform’s rules; do not rely on a VPN as a guaranteed way to unlock this match.
If a replay link does not work
- Confirm the date is October 1, 2024, rather than the postponed September 24 listing.
- Search both team-order variations and include “Carabao Cup” or “third round.”
- Check whether the page is for highlights, a full replay, or a match report; a highlights page is not a full-match stream.
- Sign in to the account and verify that its package or subscription covers the content in your territory.
- If an official page remains indexed but playback is unavailable, the content may have expired or may not be licensed where you are. Check the club or competition’s official coverage instead of unofficial mirror streams.
Official alternatives if no full replay is available
If an official broadcaster no longer offers the complete match, look for highlights and reaction on the Paramount+ fixture page, then check Newcastle United’s match archive and AFC Wimbledon’s official video pages. A club match report or score service can provide the result and context, but neither is a video replay.
