What is Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest?
Clans of the Forest is a turn-based RPG built around the four warrior Clans from the books. The game contains four original storylines—one for ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan—written exclusively for the game by Erin Hunter, according to the publisher announcement dated September 1, 2026.

Four Clan campaigns
Each of the four Clans has its own storyline. That structure gives the game four distinct perspectives rather than one campaign in which the player simply selects a starting group.
Turn-based combat and 75 moves
Nintendo’s 2026 listing specifies 75 unique combat moves. Battles are turn-based, allowing players to choose attacks and other actions rather than fighting in real time. Xbox also highlights combat as part of the game’s Clan-exploration and legacy-building systems.

Nintendo identifies six locations: ThunderClan territory, RiverClan territory, ShadowClan territory, WindClan territory, the Moonpool and the Island.
