What Renegade revealed for 2027
The slate combines licensed G.I. JOE units with returning Heroscape figures, new factions and a terrain product. The descriptions below reflect Renegade’s announcement, not independent playtesting. Read the October 2026 Renegade Con Heroscape reveal recap.

H.I.S.S. Tank Army Expansion
COBRA’s H.I.S.S. Tank comes with a choice of pilot and swappable miniatures. Renegade highlights its Double Diablo Gun and Rip It Rush 11.

Toxic Wastelands of Valhalla adds toxic land, toxic water and toxic rock outcrops. The recap specifies these Defense Value and cover effects:
- A figure on toxic land subtracts 1 from its Defense Value.
- A figure on toxic water subtracts 2 from its Defense Value.
- Toxic rock outcrops provide line-of-sight cover. Figures within one space subtract 1 from their Defense Value.
These are the concrete terrain rules stated in the reveal; the new armies, by contrast, are primarily described through unit abilities, faction identities and synergies.
