The finale, Geeked Week Live, took place in Atlanta on September 19 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). Netflix offered free tickets for in-person attendance and streamed the main show globally on YouTube, Twitch and X. The event concluded in 2024; Netflix’s current Geeked Week hub is primarily an archive.
What Netflix announced
The trailer introduced Geeked Week as a portfolio-wide fandom event rather than a presentation devoted to one series. Netflix scheduled online programming from September 16 through September 19, ending with its first live, in-person Geeked Week show in Atlanta. The announcement also promised fan activities and a permanent Geeked Hall of Fandom celebrating community creativity.

Shows, films and games in the preview
The initial announcement named or teased the following projects:

| Film | Don’t Move |
| Animation and anime | Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft and Devil May Cry |

That mix showed Netflix treating games, anime and animation as part of the same fandom program as its live-action franchises. Netflix said more titles would be announced.

When and where Geeked Week Live happened
- Date: Thursday, September 19, 2024
- Start: 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Length: Two hours, according to Netflix’s later recap
- Online platforms: YouTube, Twitch and X
The Atlanta show was the physical finale of a broader week-long celebration. Online viewers did not need to travel to Georgia to watch the main program.
Tickets were free—not a paid ticket sale
Netflix directed fans to GeekedWeek.com to obtain free tickets. The September 3 announcement did not list a ticket price, paid tiers or a VIP structure. Admission availability and venue capacity were time-sensitive, and the event is no longer open for attendance.

In practical terms, Atlanta offered a shared in-person atmosphere, panels and fan activities, while remote viewing avoided travel costs. The original announcement did not establish that every announcement or piece of footage would be exclusive to people inside the venue.
Hosts and talent: what changed after the first announcement
On September 3, Netflix said hosts and talent would be announced later. Its September 9 update subsequently identified:

How people watched remotely
The September 19 live show was available worldwide through Netflix’s YouTube, Twitch and X channels. A Netflix subscription was not required to attend the free Atlanta event or watch that livestream. The online broadcast let international fans follow the finale while the physical gathering remained limited to Atlanta.
What ultimately happened
Netflix’s official recap reported that thousands of fans attended in Atlanta and that millions watched online. The two-hour program combined stage appearances, fandom segments and announcements, while the Geeked Hall of Fandom made fan-created work part of the event rather than treating viewers as passive spectators. Read the recap at about.netflix.com and Netflix’s live-show account at Tudum.
