Navya Naveli Nanda announced Naveli Ventures on 6 October 2026 as the strategic venture arm of the Nanda Family Office. The platform says it is looking across deep tech, space, clean energy, AI, advanced manufacturing and health, with several possible routes for backing ideas and founders. Its public launch materials do not disclose a fund size, cheque range, portfolio or formal founder application process.

What is Naveli Ventures?

Naveli Ventures is presented as the strategic venture arm of the Nanda Family Office, rather than a standalone fund with publicly stated terms. That description comes from Nanda’s launch announcement and was also reported by The Economic Times and VCCircle.

The announcement positions the venture as a platform for supporting companies and ideas in areas described as important to India’s future. Its stated philosophy emphasizes the scale of a problem and the founders’ conviction over a rigid sector boundary. That is an expression of the venture’s intended approach, not evidence of a completed investment or demonstrated result.

Which sectors and founders is it looking at?

The launch announcement names six areas: deep tech, space, clean energy, AI, advanced manufacturing and health. Nanda described the selection lens this way: “We define ourselves not by sector but by the scale of the problem and the conviction of those solving it.”

This suggests that the named fields are areas of interest rather than a published, exhaustive eligibility list. The materials do not set out a particular company stage, geographic eligibility, or other formal screening criteria.

How does Naveli Ventures say it will invest?

The announcement describes four routes through which it may participate. These are announced possibilities, not a disclosed record of completed transactions.

  • Direct startup investments: investing directly in companies.
  • Institutional funds: investing through funds managed by institutions.
  • Co-investments: participating alongside other investors.
  • Academic and intellectual-property partnerships: working with academic institutions or IP-related opportunities.

Nanda also said the venture was “not chasing quick returns” and wanted to help build enduring companies alongside founders. This describes the launch’s stated orientation; the announcement does not publish a holding period, return target or fund terms.

What is known—and not yet disclosed?

The launch coverage reviewed gives no public figure for fund size or typical cheque, and does not identify completed deals, portfolio companies, or academic and IP partners. It also does not specify an investment stage, geographic eligibility, application process or contact route. These details are undisclosed in the launch materials reviewed; that does not establish that no further information exists elsewhere.

The Economic Times reports Nanda’s co-founding roles at Aara Health and Project Naveli, while VCCircle describes her as managing partner at Naveli Ventures and a junior consultant at Escorts Kubota. These are biographical details, not evidence of Naveli Ventures’ investment performance.

How can founders approach Naveli Ventures?

The public launch materials do not describe an open application process or say that applications are currently being accepted. Founders interested in the platform should look for a contact route or submission guidance through Naveli Ventures’ official channels and confirm any criteria directly. Without published instructions, it would be premature to assume a particular pitch format, stage requirement or eligibility rule.
