| Item | Amount | Status and source |
|---|---|---|
| First close | ₹450 crore | Commitments secured at first close, per the distributed release (October 8, 2026) |
| Target corpus | ₹1,500 crore | Stated target, including a green-shoe option, per the distributed release (October 8, 2026) |
| Green-shoe option | Not stated | Size and terms are not given in the release or in Inc42’s report |
A first close is an interim milestone. The announcement does not say that the remaining ₹1,050 crore gap to the target has been raised, nor does it give a timetable for further closes. The green-shoe option is described as part of the target, but its size is not disclosed, so the ₹1,500 crore figure should be read as a goal rather than a committed total.

The “23 enterprises” figure
The release says NABVENTURES’ earlier funds have collectively backed 23 innovative enterprises. It does not provide a dated list of those companies or explain how enterprises were counted. The figure describes past funds, not Fund II, and it is not a return or performance measure.
