Where can you report a player in MTG Arena?
Wizards of the Coast announced the feature on August 17, 2026, with availability planned for the August 18 update. The locations and labels below describe that announced launch behavior; the interface may change in later updates.

- Options Menu: Select “Report Player” at the bottom of the menu, beside “Report a Bug.”
- Challenge Lobby: Select “Report Player” beneath the player’s card.
- Friends List: In the social blade, right-click a friend on desktop or long-press on mobile, then select “Report.” The option appears near “Unfriend” and “Block.”
All three routes open the Player Report screen and use the same reporting process. Wizards of the Coast’s August 17, 2026 announcement describes these entry points.

How do you submit a report?
- Open one of the three reporting entry points: Options Menu, Challenge Lobby, or Friends List.
- On the Player Report screen, choose the reason that best describes the conduct.
- Add relevant details if they help explain what happened.
- Submit the report. The game confirms that it reached Customer Service for review.
Which report reason should you choose?
The launch announcement lists five categories. Choose the closest match to the behavior you are reporting.
#1 Best Overall
- Includes a mix of AT LEAST 25 Rares/Uncommons which is half of the cards.
- Absolutely NO... Basic lands, Foreign, or silver/gold bordered cards.
- Some may contain Foils or Mythics but not all.
- Sets can range from Beta to the current Magic the Gathering set.
- Mint/Excellent condition only.
- Inactivity: Idling during a match or intentionally playing slowly.
- Hate Speech: Racism, sexism, homophobia, or similar conduct.
- Inappropriate Username: An offensive or harmful display name.
- Verbal Abuse: Harassment or other harmful language.
- Spamming: Advertising, phishing, solicitation, or repeated messages.
What happens after you report someone?
Wizards said it partnered with GGWP to help gather context and organize submissions into a review queue. For the launch, the announcement says, “No reports will be actioned on automatically”; every report would be evaluated and actioned by a person. Wizards described possible automation for clear-cut cases as something it may explore later, not as part of the launch process.
The announcement confirms receipt and review, but does not explain whether reporters can check a report’s status, learn the outcome, or appeal a decision. It also gives no review-time estimate or statistics on report volumes or enforcement results.
