What is different about the yellow RTX 5080?
Modern Warfare 4 artwork
The shroud carries Modern Warfare 4-inspired military graphics with prominent yellow accents. The heatsink fin stack is also painted yellow, making the card visibly different from a conventional dark-colored RTX 5080 design.
Ghost window in the backplate
The rear metal backplate includes a transparent window. Through it, buyers can see artwork of the character Ghost as well as part of the printed circuit board. This is a physical backplate feature rather than a software theme or a removable sticker.

Cooling hardware under the artwork
The themed exterior sits over MSI’s TRIO FROZR 4 thermal design. Listed hardware includes:
Rank #3
- Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
- Video Memory: 16 GB GDDR7
- Memory Interface: 256-bit
- Output: DisplayPort x 3 (v2.1a) / HDMI 2.1b x 1

- Three STORMFORCE fans with claw-textured blades.
- A nickel-plated copper baseplate serving both the GPU and GDDR7 memory.
- Wave Curved 4.0 fin edges in the heatsink.
- Air Antegrade Fin 2.0 cutouts, designed to guide air through the fin array.
These components indicate that MSI retained its established high-end cooling platform instead of creating a separate cooler solely for the Call of Duty branding. No measured temperatures, noise levels or comparisons with another MSI RTX 5080 are provided, so those outcomes should not be assumed from the design description alone.

Because those descriptions are not identical, check MSI’s UK store information and the retailer’s product page on launch day before assuming that a third-party listing is authorized. Neither source confirms Amazon availability, and no live stock status was provided.
Price: what is known and what is not
MSI had not announced official pricing at launch. There is no defensible MSRP, UK launch price, production surcharge or bundle value to quote yet. Retail pricing may vary once listings go live, particularly if supply is tight, but any figure circulating before an official listing should be treated as unverified.

What prospective buyers should verify
- Confirm that the listing uses the exact model name, MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC.
- Check whether the seller is one of the UK channels identified by eTeknix and Hardwareluxx or is otherwise authorized.
- Look for the stated 16GB memory capacity and the Ghost backplate window in product images.
- Wait for an official price rather than relying on social-media estimates or unverified marketplace pages.
- Check your case clearance, power supply requirements and connector compatibility against the final retailer specification sheet; those figures were not included in the published product information.
Bottom line for RTX 5080 shoppers
The MSI COD MW4 Edition OC is best understood as a collectible, factory-overclocked RTX 5080 with distinctive Modern Warfare 4 styling. Its yellow shroud and heatsink, plus the Ghost backplate window, are the meaningful changes. MSI keeps the TRIO FROZR 4 cooling approach, while the listed 23 October 2026 UK release and limited-edition positioning make availability the key uncertainty. Performance, quantity and price remain unconfirmed until MSI or an authorized seller publishes complete specifications.
