The MOVA V50 Ultra Complete is a feature-rich robot vacuum and mop with an automated dock, but independent reviews disagree sharply about how well it cleans carpet and picks up pet hair. Its obstacle and pet-waste avoidance may appeal to busy households; its cleaning performance is harder to recommend without matching the reviewers’ test conditions to your floors and expectations.
What the V50 Ultra Complete offers
MOVA markets the V50 Ultra Complete as a premium vacuum-and-mop system built around an automated dock. Its U.S. product page lists 24,000 Pa suction, a 6,400 mAh battery, and FlexiRise retractable navigation. Other advertised features include StepMaster obstacle handling, a DuoSolution system, warm-water mopping, carpet settings, automatic return to recharge and resume, and automated dock care. These are manufacturer specifications and feature claims, not independent proof of cleaning results. MOVA’s U.S. product page

MOVA’s July 2025 launch announcement specified hot-water mop washing at 176°F and hot-air drying at 140°F. Those are company-stated operating temperatures, not a guarantee that the dock eliminates all residue, odor, or maintenance. MOVA’s launch announcement

How well does it clean?
The independent assessments in the available reviews point in different directions. RTINGS describes the V50 as an okay choice for multi-surface households and suitable for light daily upkeep, but says it does not provide a thorough clean. In its assessment, fine debris remained on hard floors and carpets, pet-hair pickup on carpet was weak, and some stains required multiple passes. RTINGS’ V50 Ultra Complete review
Vacuum Wars, which says it purchased and tested the V50 over several weeks, reports much stronger results in two specific carpet tests. In its October 10, 2025 review update, it recorded an 88% carpet deep-clean score, compared with its stated 75% robot-vacuum average, and an 88% flattened pet-hair-on-carpet score, compared with its stated 81% average. These are Vacuum Wars’ test results and comparison averages; they should not be treated as universal performance guarantees. Vacuum Wars’ V50 Ultra review

The sources do not establish a shared test protocol that reconciles the difference. For a home with rugs, pets, fine dust, or dried-on spills, give more weight to results that resemble your flooring and messes, and be cautious about relying on a single headline score or suction specification.
Obstacle handling and pet-waste avoidance
RTINGS reports reliable avoidance of household clutter and pet waste in its assessment. That may be a meaningful benefit for homes where objects or pet messes can be left on the floor. It does not establish that the V50 will avoid every object or every instance of pet waste in every home; room layout, object shape, lighting, and conditions can differ. - Fully Automated Cleaning: Get a comprehensive cleaning experience with the fully self-maintaining robot vacuum and mop combo. Its auto-sufficient dock collects dust for up to 75 days, cleans mop pads with 75℃ (167℉) hot water, adds water and solution and dries the mops to prevent the spread of foul odors.
- Improved Tangle-free Vacuuming: Thanks to the 19,000 Pa suction power, dust, hair and other small and large dirt particles are picked up from different surfaces. The CleanChop detangling brush is also supported and sold separately.
- From the Corners to the Edges: the robot vacuum with the extendable side brush and mop, corners, edges and skirting boards are thoroughly cleaned so that even tight spaces such as right angle corners and areas under flat furniture are reached.
- Individual Floor Cleaning in Every Climate: this vacuum robot with the two rotating mops and the 32 adjustable levels for streak-free floors, stains are eliminated in no time at all. Adjust the water level to weather conditions and soil type for flawless results.
- Carpet Cleaning Strategies: With the help of the lifting side brush and the lift-up mop, cleaning becomes even more thorough. The CleanLift system ensures a seamless transition from wet to dry cleaning, keeping your carpets and runners dry. In the cleaning app, you can adjust the different carpet cleaning modes to suit your needs.
MOVA advertises StepMaster obstacle handling, but the feature name alone does not show how reliably the robot crosses a particular threshold or navigates a specific obstacle. If your home has raised transitions, cords, or low furniture, check the physical fit and route requirements rather than assuming that obstacle handling covers every case.
How it compares with alternatives
RTINGS says the V50 shares core hardware with the Dreame X50 Ultra, but assesses the X50 as better overall, including stronger stain removal; it also notes an issue with the V50 fitting beneath low furniture. RTINGS assesses the Roborock Saros 10R as better overall as well, citing improved hard-floor pickup and access under low furniture. These are RTINGS’ comparative findings, not conclusions from a shared head-to-head test with Vacuum Wars. RTINGS’ V50 Ultra Complete review

- Industry-First Dual MaxiReachX Cleaning: The mop extends up to 6.69 in and the side brush up to 4.72 in to reach along walls, into corners, beneath furniture, and around table legs. Adaptive movement extends only when needed for broader coverage with fewer missed spots.
- 42,000Pa Suction for Hair and Debris: A high-speed motor reaches up to 150,000 RPM and delivers up to 42,000Pa suction, removing up to 99.9% of large debris and hair from hard floors and carpets. Based on internal lab testing.
- Crosses Thresholds Up to 3.54 in: StepMaster 2.0 Tech raises the chassis to move over door tracks, thresholds, U-shaped furniture legs, and uneven transitions. It handles single thresholds up to 1.77 in and combined thresholds up to 3.54 in.
- Upgraded Reusable Bagless Auto-Empty System: The EcoCyclone dust tank eliminates disposable dust bags and can be washed and reused. Its large-capacity design supports up to 100 days between emptying, depending on home size, debris level, and cleaning frequency.
- All-in-One Self-Maintaining Dock: More than an auto-empty station, the dock washes mop pads with water heated up to 212°F, dries them with 158°F hot air in about one hour, automatically dispenses cleaning solution, and cleans the washboard for hands-free vacuuming and mopping maintenance.

Who should consider it?
The V50 is most compelling for buyers who value automated vacuuming and mopping, dock functions, and obstacle avoidance, and who accept that independent results on carpet and pet hair are mixed. The case is weaker if you need consistently strong carpet-hair pickup, dependable stain removal, or access beneath low furniture: RTINGS identifies limitations in those areas. Compare the alternatives against your own floor types and priorities before treating the V50’s feature list or Vacuum Wars’ scores as decisive.
Vacuum Wars’ October 7, 2026 update also notes that a newer model had replaced the V50’s prior top-pick position. That is a change in that publisher’s recommendation, not evidence that the V50 stopped working or that every buyer should choose its successor. Vacuum Wars’ V50 Ultra review
