The Motorola Signature is the stronger-on-paper choice for processing power, display refresh rate, camera flexibility, charging and stated software support. The Nothing Phone (4b) is the lower-priced option in the India price snapshot and lists a larger battery. Which is better value depends on your country, exact storage variant and current price: the available prices are regional snapshots, not globally comparable quotes.

Which phone is better for performance and display?
Motorola Signature: better suited to demanding workloads on paper
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and the listed 12 GB or 16 GB RAM put the Signature in a higher processing tier than the Phone (4b)’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and 8 GB RAM. That makes Motorola the specification-led pick for demanding apps and gaming. These figures do not establish real-world speed, sustained gaming performance or thermal behavior.

- Universal unlocked - Compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and other prepaid carriers.
- Sharp, durable 6.8" 120Hz FHD+ display - Enjoy stunning views and a 120Hz refresh rate along with 360 degrees of protection.*
- TurboPower charging and up to 49-hour battery - Get hours of power in just minutes of charging, and nearly two full days of battery life.***
- 50MP camera system with OIS - Capture sharper low-light photos, smoother videos, and studio-quality selfies with an AI-powered camera system. ****
- 5G speeds and fast multitasking - Experience unimaginably fast 5G speeds with a MediaTek processor and up to 24GB of RAM with RAM Boost.*****
The displays are similar in physical size, but Motorola lists a higher resolution and a faster maximum refresh rate: 2780 × 1264 at up to 165 Hz versus 1080 × 2344 at 120 Hz for Nothing. A specification sheet alone cannot establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
Which phone offers more camera flexibility?
Motorola lists three rear 50 MP cameras, including a 3× periscope telephoto. That gives it more stated focal-length options than the Phone (4b)’s listed 50 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide cameras. Choose the Signature if an optical-telephoto option matters to you; the megapixel counts do not prove that its photos are better. Image quality depends on more than resolution, and no hands-on camera comparison is established here.

Battery capacity versus charging
Nothing’s listed 6,000 mAh capacity is larger than Motorola’s 5,200 mAh. Motorola, however, lists 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, compared with 33 W wired charging for Nothing in 91mobiles’ data. Capacity does not predict battery life by itself, and these figures are not independent endurance or charging tests.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to choose based on your priorities
- Choose the Motorola Signature on specifications if you prioritize the higher-tier listed processor, up to 16 GB RAM, a higher-refresh and higher-resolution display, a 3× periscope camera, wireless charging or Motorola’s stated support period.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (4b) if the lower observed India price or larger listed battery capacity matters more to you, and its listed processor, camera arrangement and wired charging meet your needs.
- Compare local offers before paying: match the country, RAM/storage variant and seller, then check the current total price. The India Amazon figures and UK Nothing offer represent different markets and purchase contexts.
This is a specification-led comparison, not a verdict based on independent testing of image quality, gaming, battery endurance or charging speed. Nothing’s listed Phone (4b) support duration and several detailed specifications are secondary-source figures here; Motorola’s stated support is manufacturer information.
