Which phone has the better cameras?
The published camera systems make different trade-offs. HONOR emphasizes resolution on its main camera and includes an ultra-wide/macro camera; Motorola’s launch coverage describes three 50 MP rear cameras, including a 3× optical telephoto. A higher megapixel count does not by itself mean better photographs, and these specifications do not prove which phone produces better results.

If you often photograph distant subjects, the Signature’s dedicated optical telephoto is a concrete hardware advantage over the camera configuration published for the HONOR 90. If you want a high-resolution main sensor or an ultra-wide camera that also supports macro photography, the HONOR 90’s published setup may appeal. Neither point predicts everyday image quality, color, low-light performance, or video quality; no controlled head-to-head camera results are established.
How do performance and software support compare?
Motorola Signature launch coverage identifies the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Android 16, and reports a seven-year commitment to OS upgrades and security patches. Treat the update term as Motorola’s reported company commitment, not proof that every update will arrive on schedule or that a particular regional model is covered on identical terms. The available HONOR 90 product information identifies a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition, but does not establish its remaining support term.

For demanding games or apps, the Signature’s newer flagship-class processor makes it the stronger hardware bet on paper. It is not a substitute for comparable benchmark or sustained-performance testing. Before buying an HONOR 90 in 2026, ask HONOR or the seller what security updates remain for the exact regional variant; do not assume support based solely on the phone’s original launch date.
What do the battery and charging specifications tell you?
HONOR specifies a 5000 mAh typical battery capacity (4900 mAh rated) and up to 66 W wired charging when using the original SuperCharge charger and cable. HONOR notes that configuration and actual use can vary. Motorola.com search-result information lists a 5200 mAh battery, up to 90 W wired charging, and up to 50 W wireless charging, but the page could not be opened to verify those specifications. Confirm the Signature’s charging and battery details with an accessible official specification for your region before relying on them.

On those published figures, the Signature is the only one of these two with wireless charging listed, while the HONOR 90 has an explicit original-charger requirement for its maximum wired rate. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world endurance or time to recharge; those depend on use, software, charger, and other conditions, and no controlled comparison is available.
Which display and comfort details matter?
HONOR’s global product page claims 3840 Hz PWM dimming and links its flicker-free claim to TÜV Rheinland certification. HONOR qualifies the dimming behavior: it takes effect when the display refresh rate is 120 Hz. This is a published display claim, not a guarantee that every person will find the screen comfortable.

Motorola launch coverage describes the Signature as having a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, but that figure came from an official search-result overview that could not be opened for verification. The available information does not support a full, verified display comparison. If display comfort is a deciding factor, try each phone at your preferred brightness and refresh-rate settings where possible; also consider whether you prefer a curved screen, which can affect handling and accidental touches.

- Match the camera hardware to your use. Prefer the Signature if 3× optical reach is important. Consider the HONOR 90 if its 200 MP main camera and ultra-wide/macro configuration fit what you want. Do not treat megapixels as a picture-quality score.
