These are manufacturer-published specifications, not comparable hands-on tests. They describe hardware and stated support; they do not establish which phone is faster in practice, takes better photos or lasts longer on a charge.

How the screen size and refresh rate differ
At 6.8 inches, the Signature gives more screen area, which may suit readers who watch video, play games or prefer a larger interface. The Pixel 11’s 6.3-inch display is the smaller option for people who prioritize a more compact phone. Motorola lists a higher maximum refresh rate—165 Hz versus Google’s 60–120 Hz range—but those figures alone do not prove a difference in brightness, color accuracy or real-world smoothness.

Camera hardware: 3x versus 5x optical telephoto
Motorola lists three 50 MP rear cameras, including a 3x telephoto. Google’s listed array combines a 48 MP main camera and 13 MP ultrawide with a 10.8 MP 5x optical telephoto, plus up to 30x Super Zoom. The Pixel’s stated 5x optical reach is the longer of the two specified telephoto ranges; Motorola’s page gives the higher megapixel count for its telephoto camera. Neither megapixels nor zoom figures are enough to determine which phone produces better photos. That requires comparable photo testing.
Battery capacity and charging
Motorola lists a 5200 mAh battery, 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. Google lists a 4985 mAh typical-capacity battery and Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25 W. For wired charging, Google’s stated benchmark is reaching 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30 W USB-C PPS charger or higher; the charger is sold separately.

The listed wattages favor the Signature on paper, but they are not a controlled charging comparison. Battery capacity alone also cannot establish which phone lasts longer: manufacturer battery-life estimates are not directly comparable test results.

Software update support
Motorola states “Up to 7 years” of OS upgrades and security patches for the Signature. Google specifies seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for the Pixel 11. Both therefore advertise long support periods, but their stated scopes are not identical: Google explicitly includes Pixel Drops, while Motorola’s quoted wording covers OS upgrades and security patches. The figures do not establish identical update schedules.

Price difference by country
The verified Google Store prices are regional, not global. In the Netherlands, Google lists the Pixel 11 from €999. In Germany, Google lists the 256 GB model at €999 and the 512 GB model at €1,129. These are country-specific storefront prices and can change. The cited material does not establish a Motorola Signature price in a matching country and storage tier, so it is not enough to calculate a reliable price difference or declare a cheaper phone.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Motorola Signature if
- You want the larger 6.8-inch display and value its stated 165 Hz refresh ceiling.
- Higher listed charging wattages matter to you: 90 W wired and 50 W wireless.
- You prefer the published 3x telephoto specification and three 50 MP rear cameras.
Choose the Google Pixel 11 if
- You prefer a smaller 6.3-inch display.
- You want the longer specified optical telephoto reach: 5x, alongside up to 30x Super Zoom.
- Google’s stated seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates match your support priorities.
Google announced the Pixel 11 on August 12, 2026. Google’s announcement provides the date; it does not change the need to compare local availability and prices before buying.
