Indian price listings put it around ₹50,000, but that is not proof it is currently in stock or the cheapest foldable. Its mid-range performance and merely average camera detail make it a less compelling choice if gaming, photography or long software support matter more than the folding design.
What does the Razr 60 cost in India?
The available price reports place the Razr 60 at about ₹50,000. The Indian Express review, published 6 July 2025, said it started at ₹49,999. Gadgets 360 listed a ₹49,950 starting price in a snapshot dated 29 September 2026, while its listed colours were out of stock. Beebom Gadgets also listed ₹49,999 and marked the phone out of stock when accessed on 4 October 2026. These are dated listings, not confirmation of current availability.

That pricing supports calling it an accessible flip-style foldable, but not claiming it is the cheapest foldable in India. Check live stock and compare current prices for phones with the same form factor before buying; a clamshell and a larger book-style foldable are not direct substitutes.
What do you get for the price?
The cited India configuration pairs 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor. The inner display measures 6.9 inches and supports a 120Hz refresh rate; the 3.6-inch external screen supports 90Hz. Other listed specifications include a 4,500mAh battery, 30W wired charging, wireless charging and an IP48 rating. The rear camera setup is listed as 50MP and 13MP, with a 32MP front camera. Those figures describe hardware, not a guarantee of image quality or speed.

How useful is the cover screen?
In The Indian Express review, Anuj Bhatia found the outer display useful for checking messages, map directions and music without opening the phone. Android apps can run on it, but compatibility varies, so do not assume every app will work well on the smaller screen. The compact folded shape is the core appeal: as Bhatia put it, “The fact that the Razr 60 can fold in half and become a compact clamshell is what has drawn many people, including me, to flip-style foldable phones in the first place.”
The reviewer also found the inner screen smooth and brighter than its predecessor, with a less noticeable crease. A crease remains part of the foldable experience, and the screen needs more care than a conventional rigid display to avoid scratches or damage.

Performance and cameras: what to expect
Bhatia reported that everyday apps and multitasking ran smoothly, but described the processor as a modest upgrade and demanding games as a weakness. That makes the Razr 60 a better fit for routine use than for buyers choosing primarily on gaming performance. These are one reviewer’s hands-on impressions, not results from a standardized performance test.

The same review judged camera detail average, while finding low-light results serviceable. The megapixel counts alone do not settle image quality. If crisp detail, consistent zoom or photography versatility is a priority, compare sample photos and independent reviews before choosing it over a conventional phone at a similar price.

Software support and durability
The Indian Express review said the Razr 60 launched with Android 15 and Motorola promised three years of major Android updates and four years of security updates. Beebom’s page timeline records an Android 16 update on 9 February 2026. That timeline does not establish the phone’s current update status or support beyond the stated commitment, so check Motorola’s latest India support information if update longevity is important to you.
The Indian Express reviewer noted a titanium hinge, good fit and finish, and an IP48 rating. The rating is a useful specification, but it does not make the folding display immune to scratches or breakage. Follow Motorola’s care guidance, and verify that any case is made for the exact Razr 60 model and leaves the hinge unobstructed. Do not put an unverified protector on the folding inner screen.

Who should buy the Motorola Razr 60?
It makes sense if you want the clamshell experience
- You value a phone that folds into a compact shape more than maximizing performance per rupee.
- You expect to use the outer display for quick checks, messages, navigation or music.
- You are comfortable with mid-range gaming and camera performance and will handle the folding screen carefully.
Compare other phones if your priorities are different
- For demanding games, compare processor performance and sustained gaming results.
- For camera detail, assess real photo samples rather than relying on megapixel counts.
- For a longer update horizon, confirm each phone maker’s current support commitment and update status.
- For the best value, compare live India prices and stock among phones you would genuinely consider, including conventional phones and foldables of the same style.
