The Motorola Razr 40 and iQOO Neo 7 Pro suit different priorities: the Razr is a clamshell foldable with a cover screen, while the Neo 7 Pro is a conventional large-screen phone with a higher-tier listed chipset, larger battery capacity and 120 W wired charging. A precise current price difference cannot be established from comparable, same-date listings, so check the same storage variant at checkout before deciding on value.

How the designs and displays differ
Razr 40: foldable design and cover screen
The Razr 40 folds shut, making its shape and external 1.50-inch touchscreen its defining differences. Its 6.90-inch inner screen is listed at 144 Hz. The available specification information does not establish which apps or interactions the cover screen supports in current software, so check the exact experience you need rather than assuming every app can run there.

Neo 7 Pro: a conventional large-screen phone
The Neo 7 Pro has a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display and no external cover screen. It avoids the foldable format and keeps the main screen available without opening the device. The listed size and refresh rates do not, by themselves, prove which display looks better: the panels and ways they are used differ.
Performance: what the chipset comparison does and does not show
The Neo 7 Pro’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a higher-tier listed chipset than the Razr 40’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. That makes the iQOO the stronger on-paper choice for a buyer prioritizing the processor, but the specification comparison does not establish a measured everyday speed gap, gaming frame rate or app-loading advantage.

iQOO also publishes an AnTuTu result based on its own laboratory test of a 12 GB + 256 GB Neo 7 Pro using AnTuTu Benchmark V10.0.3. The company says results vary by memory edition and environment; it is not an independent head-to-head result against the Razr 40 (iQOO India product page).
Battery and charging: iQOO leads on listed capacity and wired wattage
iQOO lists an equivalent 5,000 mAh battery and 120 W FlashCharge for the Neo 7 Pro. The Razr 40 listing gives a 4,200 mAh battery and wireless charging support. These figures favor the iQOO for stated battery capacity and wired charging wattage, but they do not establish a real-world battery-life result or a directly comparable time to charge. Runtime and charging duration depend on usage and test conditions.

Camera configurations are not a photo-quality verdict
The Razr 40 is listed with 64 MP and 13 MP rear cameras plus a 32 MP front camera. The Neo 7 Pro has a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP camera and a 2 MP camera, plus a 16 MP front camera, according to iQOO. These are different camera configurations; megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or selfies. No controlled side-by-side camera test is established by the cited material.

Software and update support
The listed launch software is Android 13 for the Razr 40 and Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 for the Neo 7 Pro. 91mobiles reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the iQOO Neo 7 Pro (91mobiles). The cited Razr listing does not provide a comparable update commitment. These launch-version details should not be read as confirmation of either phone’s current Android version or current rollout status; check the manufacturers’ device-specific support information before buying for long-term updates.

Price difference in India: compare matching variants at checkout
Gadgets 360 reported a starting price of ₹54,990 for the Motorola Razr 40 on a page updated 3 October 2026. Its page also lists ₹54,990 for Vanilla Cream, ₹59,990 for Sage Green and ₹54,999 for Summer Lilac, illustrating that prices can vary by listed variant. These are reported listing figures, not guaranteed checkout prices (Gadgets 360).
The cited comparison and iQOO price information do not establish an equally current, consistent Neo 7 Pro price matched by date, stock status and RAM/storage configuration. It would therefore be misleading to state a definite rupee difference. Before comparing value, check live India retailer listings for both phones on the same day, select comparable storage variants, and distinguish the listed price from discounts, bank offers and the final checkout amount. The Neo 7 Pro launched on 4 July 2023, according to 91mobiles; the Razr listing identifies 1 June 2023 as its release date, which should not be mistaken for an official India sale date (Gadgets 360).
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Motorola Razr 40 if a foldable clamshell, compact folded shape and cover-screen use matter more to you than choosing a conventional slab phone.
- Choose the iQOO Neo 7 Pro if you want a conventional large-screen design and prioritize its higher-tier listed processor, larger stated battery capacity and 120 W wired charging.
- Compare the cameras by features, not megapixels: the listed hardware differs, but the available evidence does not establish a tested image-quality winner.
- Check the exact RAM and storage configuration and current software support before comparing prices or planning to keep either phone for several years.
