The same comparison shows 128 GB of storage for the Samsung and 256 GB for the Motorola. It does not establish that the prices are for equivalent RAM and storage configurations. Compare the exact variants and final seller prices before treating the gap as a like-for-like saving. The figures apply to this India comparison only; they do not establish prices in other markets.
Display: higher listed resolution on Motorola
Both phones are listed with 6.7-inch displays and 120 Hz refresh rates. Smartprix gives the Edge 60 Fusion a resolution of 1220 × 2712, compared with 1080 × 2340 for the Galaxy A36. TechRadar’s 2025 review also lists the Motorola display at 2712 × 1220 and 120 Hz. On the reported specifications, Motorola has the higher-resolution panel; the available comparison does not establish which screen looks better in use.

Camera specifications are not photo-quality tests
The listings describe different rear-camera arrangements. Samsung is shown with a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide and a 5 MP macro camera. Motorola is shown with a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultrawide, which Smartprix says supports macro vision. These specifications identify the listed camera options, but do not demonstrate that either phone takes better photos.
Battery and chipset vary across reports
Motorola battery capacity
Smartprix lists the Edge 60 Fusion at 5,500 mAh, while TechRadar’s 2025 review lists 5,200 mAh. The available sources do not establish whether that difference reflects a regional model, a configuration difference or a source error. Check the specification sheet for the exact model sold in your market. Neither figure establishes battery endurance: no controlled battery-life results are available here.

Motorola chipset
91mobiles lists the Edge 60 Fusion with a Dimensity 7400 and 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options. TechRadar’s review of a 2025 configuration lists a Dimensity 7300 and 8 GB RAM. This conflict means the chipset should not be generalized across all regional versions without checking the model number. The comparison sources do not support a definitive real-world speed ranking.
Software support: longer commitment reported for Samsung
91mobiles lists six years of OS and security updates for the Galaxy A36, compared with three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the Edge 60 Fusion. On those reported terms, Samsung has the longer stated software runway. Confirm the applicable commitment with the manufacturer for the specific market and model before making support duration decisive.
