Which phone has the bigger battery?
vivo lists a 7200 mAh battery for the T5x 5G, compared with 5000 mAh for the Edge 70. That is a capacity comparison, not a battery-life result: screen use, software, signal conditions, and other factors affect runtime. No comparable endurance test is established here.

The T5x 5G has the larger stated screen at 6.76 inches, versus 6.67 inches for the Edge 70. Motorola lists an AMOLED panel and 2712 × 1220 resolution; vivo lists an LCD panel at 2344 × 1080. Both are specified for refresh rates up to 120 Hz. These figures identify panel type, size, and resolution, but do not by themselves determine overall image quality.

Charging and cameras: what the specifications establish
Charging
Motorola lists 68 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging for the Edge 70. vivo lists 44 W charging for the T5x 5G; its cited listing does not specify wireless charging. The stated wattages do not establish comparative charging times.
Cameras
vivo’s listed rear setup is a 50 MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera, with a 32 MP front camera. The Edge 70’s 50 MP main and 50 MP ultrawide rear cameras, plus 50 MP front camera, are reported by secondary comparison data rather than the Motorola APAC specification cited here. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish photo quality, and regional camera details should be confirmed before purchase.

Performance and software
The listed chipsets are Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the Edge 70 and MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo for the T5x 5G. Without comparable benchmarks or hands-on testing, those names do not establish which phone is faster in games or everyday use. Both manufacturers’ cited pages identify Android 16; the T5x runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Matched regional software-update commitments are not established, so these specifications do not support a long-term support winner.
What is the India price difference?
A reliable current, like-for-like price difference is not established by the available listings. A 91mobiles snapshot checked in 2026 showed ₹31,699 for the Edge 70 in an 8 GB/256 GB configuration and ₹27,199 for the T5x 5G, but variant alignment and offer conditions were not reconciled. vivo’s India store separately showed ₹34,999 for a selected T5x listing and offered multiple memory configurations. These snapshots conflict and are not a current price verdict.

Before comparing totals, check the same RAM and storage configuration where possible, the seller, and any bank, exchange, or limited-time offer conditions. vivo lists the T5x in 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB configurations; confirm the Edge 70’s regional retail configuration rather than assuming every market matches Motorola’s APAC support specification. Prices can change, so treat each displayed amount as date- and offer-specific.
Which phone should you choose?
- Favor the vivo T5x 5G on specifications if a larger stated battery and larger screen are your priorities. Its screen is LCD, and vivo lists the phone at 219 g.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 if you prioritize AMOLED, its higher listed resolution, or wireless charging. Its 50 MP ultrawide camera is reported by secondary comparison data and should be checked against the exact regional model.
- Do not choose on chipset or megapixels alone if gaming speed or camera results are decisive; comparable performance and image-quality tests are not established by these specifications.
