It handles quick notes, sketches and simple on-screen tasks without carrying a separate accessory, alongside a sharp 120 Hz pOLED display and useful extras such as expandable storage and wireless charging. Its performance and cameras are capable for everyday use, but neither is a standout, and battery life varies considerably with workload.

What the built-in stylus is good for
The pen is the Edge 60 Stylus’s clearest reason to choose it over a conventional mid-range phone. The Indian Express reviewer used it for quick notes and sketches and described shortcuts for notes, screenshots, a handwriting calculator and a canvas. These are practical, low-friction tools for jotting down a thought, marking up something on screen or sketching informally. The Indian Express review and 91mobiles’ review both discuss the pen’s basic usefulness.
It is not an advanced remote stylus: The Indian Express says it lacks pressure sensitivity, remote-control features, a laser pointer and air gestures. That makes it a good fit for brief notes and simple sketches, not a substitute for a feature-rich pen aimed at detailed creative work.

Display and everyday extras
The 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED panel combines a high resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Reviewers praised its sharpness and brightness, making the screen a strong part of the phone’s everyday appeal as well as a useful surface for writing and drawing. The official India specification page also lists IP68 protection, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and wireless charging support. The wireless charger is not included in the box, so that feature requires a separately obtained compatible charger.
Performance: fine for routine use, limited under pressure
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is suited to everyday tasks, but it is not a reason to buy this as a performance-focused phone. The Indian Express reviewer found it adequate for basic use and reported a performance drop when workloads became heavier. Expect routine apps to be the more comfortable use case; heavy gaming or demanding creative workloads are less compelling reasons to choose it.
Camera review: usable, not consistently impressive
The camera can produce decent results in adequate light, but the Indian Express review found strong contrast and difficulty handling high-contrast scenes. 91mobiles praised the camera hardware while noting portrait skin-tone issues. Taken together, the reviews suggest cameras that can serve everyday photography but may be inconsistent in tricky lighting or portraits. Buyers who place camera consistency above the integrated pen should compare alternatives closely.

Battery life and charging depend on use
The 5,000 mAh capacity does not translate into one predictable runtime across users. The Indian Express reviewer said average use lasted into a second day, while heavy use ran the battery down around 9 pm. 91mobiles reported almost a full day with moderate use. Those are review results under different usage conditions, not a guarantee for every owner; demanding screen time and workloads can change the outcome substantially.
91mobiles measured a 20-to-100% charge in 35 minutes using the bundled charger. That is a publication test result, not a universal charging-time promise; charging conditions can affect the result.

Software support and what comes in the box
The Indian Express reported Motorola’s launch-time commitment as two Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. That is the commitment reported by the review, not confirmation of current patch delivery. Buyers who intend to keep a phone for a long time and prioritize extended software support should weigh that reported duration against their needs.
91mobiles reported that its review unit came without a case or pre-applied screen guard, and that online case options were limited at review time. Accessory availability can change, so check current listings and confirm that any screen protector or case explicitly fits the Edge 60 Stylus.

| 91mobiles’ bundled-charger test reached full charge from 20% in 35 minutes. | Battery life varies with workload; the second-day result should not be assumed for heavy use. |

Verdict: should you buy the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus?
Buy it if an integrated pen will make a real difference to your routine—especially for short notes, lists, annotations or casual sketches—and you also want a high-resolution OLED display with practical hardware extras. The stylus is the deciding feature, rather than a claim that the phone leads its class in every area.
Look elsewhere or compare carefully if your priorities are sustained gaming performance, demanding creative work, reliable camera results across difficult scenes or longer software support. The Indian Express listed Rs 22,999 as the phone’s review-time price; that is historical context, not a current quote. Check an India retailer for current price, stock and exact variant before buying. Anuj Bhatia of The Indian Express summed up the phone’s appeal this way: “The Edge 60 Stylus offers a basic experience — and maybe that’s exactly what I want from a note-taking smartphone.”
