The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is the stronger pick on display and camera versatility: it has a 1.5K pOLED screen and a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera. The vivo T5x 5G prioritizes battery capacity, with a listed 7200mAh cell, and may cost less—but vivo’s official store pages showed conflicting prices. The better choice depends on which features matter to you and the verified price and stock for the exact configuration you plan to buy.

How do the displays differ?
The Edge 60 Pro has the higher-resolution panel and uses pOLED: 2712 × 1220 pixels on a 6.7-inch screen, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The T5x’s 6.76-inch LCD is slightly larger diagonally, but its listed resolution is 2344 × 1080. On the published panel specifications, Motorola offers the sharper, higher-end display; vivo offers a marginally larger screen.
Which phone has the more versatile cameras?
The clearest hardware difference is the Edge 60 Pro’s dedicated 10MP telephoto camera, which supports 3x optical zoom and OIS. Its rear setup also includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera. The T5x listing specifies a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera, with no dedicated telephoto listed. That makes Motorola the more flexible choice on camera hardware if optical zoom or an ultrawide camera is important. These specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Motorola lists a 50MP front camera and vivo lists a 32MP front camera. Megapixel counts alone do not determine selfie quality.
Is the T5x’s bigger battery more important than faster charging?
vivo lists a 7200mAh battery, compared with 6000mAh for the Edge 60 Pro. Motorola lists 90W wired and 15W wireless charging; vivo lists 44W charging. The T5x therefore has the larger stated capacity, while the Edge 60 Pro has higher stated wired charging wattage and adds wireless charging. These figures do not establish real-world battery life or charge time.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What are the India prices, and why is the gap unclear?
Prices and stock observed on official India pages on October 7, 2026 were inconsistent for the T5x, so they do not support one reliable price gap:
- Motorola India listed the Edge 60 Pro at ₹33,999 against an MRP of ₹40,999, but the product page showed “Currently out of stock.” Prices can vary by configuration and card offer. [Motorola India product listing]
- vivo’s official store category page showed ₹27,999 for the T5x 5G 6GB+128GB configuration. [vivo official store category]
- vivo’s product detail page showed ₹45,999 for a selected 6GB+128GB unit, conflicting with the category-page price for what appears to be the same configuration. [vivo store product detail]
Before comparing totals, check the same RAM/storage tier, seller, warranty terms, current offer and stock status. The observed vivo mismatch means its category listing alone is not enough to establish the price you will pay.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Edge 60 Pro if: you value a higher-resolution pOLED display, a dedicated 3x optical telephoto, an ultrawide camera, or wireless charging—and can find the configuration you want in stock at a price that works.
- Choose the vivo T5x 5G if: the larger stated battery capacity is your priority, its LCD display and listed camera setup suit your needs, and the verified price for your configuration is attractive.
- Compare before paying: Motorola lists more than one RAM/storage range across its pages, while vivo offers three configurations. Confirm the exact variant and seller rather than treating a headline price as universal.
Durability and software support
Motorola states IP68 and IP69; vivo presents the T5x as IP68 and IP69+. Keep the manufacturers’ different wording rather than treating the ratings as proof of identical certification conditions.
Motorola lists 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security maintenance releases. vivo’s product page identifies OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, but the material consulted does not establish a support duration for the T5x. The software version alone is not a basis for comparing how long each phone will receive updates.
What comes in the T5x box?
The vivo store listing includes a phone, cable, charger, eject tool, case, applied protective film and warranty card. This describes the specific vivo India store listing; confirm box contents for the seller and unit you purchase. Motorola’s consulted page did not establish box contents.
