Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

There is no reliable universal price difference: prices depend on country, retailer and memory configuration, so compare local versions at the same time.
How their headline specifications compare
The figures below come from manufacturer pages for different regional configurations: Motorola’s US specifications and TECNO’s Nigeria specifications. They are useful for identifying trade-offs, not proof of real-world superiority. Check the exact model and configuration sold in your market.

Which display and performance differences matter?
TECNO lists the higher refresh rate: 144Hz versus Motorola’s 120Hz. That is a specification advantage on paper, but refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality. Brightness, color calibration, touch response and how apps use the refresh rate also matter.

The phones use different MediaTek chips, but their names do not establish which is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. There are no comparable benchmark results here. Look for independent tests of the exact regional versions if performance is a deciding factor.
How the camera systems differ
Both manufacturers list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 3x telephoto camera. Motorola lists a 50MP ultrawide; TECNO lists an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP 3x telephoto. The distinction is where the higher listed resolution sits: Motorola’s ultrawide or TECNO’s telephoto.
Those megapixel counts do not determine which phone takes better photos. Sensor size, lens quality, processing and shooting conditions affect results, and no comparable photo testing is established here. TECNO’s Nigeria page lists a 50MP front camera; a complete selfie-camera comparison is not established because the Motorola regional details used here do not provide a relied-upon figure.

Charging, battery capacity and water resistance
Motorola’s US page lists 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, while TECNO’s Nigeria page lists 45W wired charging. Motorola therefore offers more charging options and a higher advertised wired rate in these specifications; actual charging times depend on conditions and are not established by the figures alone.
TECNO’s listed battery capacity is 6150mAh, compared with Motorola’s 6000mAh—a 150mAh difference in the cited regional specifications. Capacity alone cannot tell you which phone lasts longer, since screen, software and usage affect runtime.
Both companies advertise substantial dust and water resistance, but IP ratings reflect specified test conditions rather than a guarantee against damage in every situation. Motorola’s EMEA page lists IP68/IP69; TECNO advertises IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K and includes test-condition caveats. Do not intentionally expose either phone to water on the strength of its rating.
Software support and regional configurations
The cited Motorola US page lists Android 16, three OS upgrades and four years of security patches. TECNO’s product page advertises HiOS 16 and five-year, three-generation Android OS updates. These are manufacturer-stated terms, and availability or rollout may depend on region and exact SKU. Confirm the update policy for the phone being sold locally.

Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Configuration details are not globally uniform. The Motorola US listing shows 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage; the TECNO Nigeria listing shows 256GB or 512GB storage with 8GB or 12GB physical RAM plus extended RAM. Extended or virtual RAM is not equivalent to additional physical memory. Compare the precise local SKU, including storage, before comparing prices.
What is the price difference?
No comparable current price pair is established for a specific country and currency, so a universal price gap cannot be stated responsibly. Retail prices change with location, retailer, promotions and configuration; a price from one market or an old launch price should not be treated as a current local comparison.
To calculate a useful difference, find both phones at the same time from named retailers in your country, match the RAM and storage tiers as closely as possible, and compare the final prices in the same currency. Subtract the lower price from the higher one and label the result with the market, retailer, date and configurations. If equivalent memory tiers are unavailable, make that difference clear rather than implying a like-for-like comparison.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if wireless charging, faster listed wired charging or a higher-resolution ultrawide camera are priorities.
- Choose the TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G if you value its listed 144Hz display, 50MP 3x telephoto or the option of a 512GB storage configuration in the cited Nigeria specifications.
- Compare local listings carefully if software support, total cost or memory configuration will decide the purchase. Regional specifications differ, and TECNO notes that battery capacity varies by region.
- Seek independent side-by-side tests if your choice depends on gaming speed, photo quality or actual battery life; manufacturer specifications do not settle those questions.
