The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G gives you a slightly larger screen and a 300mAh higher stated battery capacity. A comparison listing showed a ₹4,099 price gap in Motorola’s favor, but it may not compare matching memory and storage variants, so check the exact models and current seller prices before deciding.
India variants and specifications at a glance
This comparison is for the India-market models. Motorola’s regional specifications differ: its India support page and product specification PDF list the Edge 60 Fusion with a Dimensity 7400 and 5,500mAh battery, while the PDF lists EMEA/LATAM versions with a Dimensity 7300 and 5,200mAh battery. Do not assume specifications for another region apply to the Indian phone.

Xiaomi lists the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. Motorola’s India support page lists 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, plus microSD expansion. Retail listings can show other configurations, so confirm the variant attached to any offer.

Screen: Redmi is larger; Motorola is sharper on paper
The Redmi’s display is 0.10 inch larger diagonally, which may suit readers who prioritize screen area. Motorola’s listed 2712 × 1220 resolution puts more pixels on its 6.67-inch panel than the Redmi’s 2392 × 1080 on 6.77 inches. Both are listed at up to 120Hz, so the headline distinction is size versus pixel resolution rather than refresh rate.
The manufacturers’ brightness figures are not a standardized head-to-head measurement. Xiaomi lists a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. Motorola lists 4,500 nits HDR peak brightness and 1,400 nits high-brightness mode. Those figures refer to different conditions and should not be treated as directly comparable brightness-test results.

Cameras: compare the extra lens, not assumed image quality
Both phones list a 50MP main camera, but the secondary rear cameras serve different purposes. Motorola adds a 13MP ultrawide/macro camera and specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) for its main camera in the product PDF. Xiaomi lists a 2MP depth camera alongside its main camera. Motorola also lists a 32MP front camera, compared with Xiaomi’s 20MP.
These hardware specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No comparable camera test is available here; choose based on the listed camera roles if an ultrawide option matters to you.

Battery and charging: capacity is not a runtime test
Xiaomi’s listed 5,800mAh typical battery is 300mAh larger than Motorola India’s 5,500mAh battery. Motorola lists 68W wired charging, while Xiaomi lists 45W Turbo charging and says a charger is included in the box. Battery capacity alone does not establish longer real-world endurance, and the wattage figures do not establish a particular charging time. No comparable battery-life or charging test is established for these phones here.
Durability: read the ratings as manufacturer claims
Motorola lists IP68/IP69, Gorilla Glass 7i and MIL-STD-810H certification. Xiaomi lists IP65+IP66 and states: “The device is certified to be splash and dust resistant exclusively under specific laboratory conditions not corresponding to normal use conditions.” Xiaomi also says liquid damage outside the test conditions is not covered by warranty. Neither phone’s ratings should be read as a guarantee against damage in every real-world situation.

India price difference: check the exact variant before comparing
A 91mobiles comparison listing displayed ₹20,900 for the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and ₹24,999 for the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, a ₹4,099 difference in Motorola’s favor at the time the listing was checked. These are volatile listing prices, and the comparison may not match RAM and storage configurations. Check the current seller, variant and offer for each phone before treating the gap as a value verdict.
